Moore Than Back-up

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Fantasy News | COMMENTS: None Yet

Looking for a RB in your league?  Need someone who is at the very least going to get his reps?  Believe it or not, Mewelde Moore of the Pittsburgh Steelers may be your guy…for now.  Relegated to a back-up roll behind Willie Parker, Rashard Mendenhall, and Carey Davis, Moore is now more than a back-up and for at least the next 2 weeks a viable option for the bye weeks.

Last night during the 3rd quarter of the Steelers Monday night win over the Baltimore Ravens, Mendenhall went down with a fractured shoulder and will now be placed on IR.  Davis [...]

Sunday's Questionables

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Fantasy News, Featured | COMMENTS: None Yet

O.k. folks, the early morning kick-off is about 1 1/2 hours away.  There are some names you may want to take a look at on your roster this weekend and consider putting them on the bench.  These are injury related questionables.
Brian Westbrook – Looks as though he will be out tonight against Chicago.  If he does play, it won’t be much.

Sit him if you can

Carson Palmer – The QB is nursing an injury and will be a game time decision.  He has a sore elbow.  The game today is against Cleveland another 0-3 team which might have made Palmer [...]

ER Report

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Fantasy News | COMMENTS: None Yet

IE…Breaking News you may want to know about.  According to Rotoworld, Brady Quinn may be finding himself behind center as early as this Sunday.  While Derek Anderson is set to start the game…for now…he is on a short leash.  It is assumed that if and when Quinn enters the game to replace Anderson, the job will be his for the season.  If that happens, keep your eye on Andersons future in Cleveland as the trade deadline approaches.  Anderson signed a 3 year extension prior to the start of free-agency.  So far, the Browns are looking at that like a big [...]

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Fantasy News | COMMENTS: None Yet

It’s Thursday morning and we are starting to see bits of info filter in around the internet…not much…but a little, the real information comes on Friday and Saturday morning as the injury reports take shape.  Still, there is some INFO for you die-hards.
Troy Smith – QB – Baltimore Ravens – Returned to practice after his bout with tonsillitis back in August.  He lost 20 pounds due to the illness and has gained back half of that.  His future is up in the air as a starter with Joe Flacco, the rookie, starting now and not looking all that bad.  Troy [...]

That is one of the reasons this site was designed.  While I am only a “Self-Proclaimed” expert, it is always better to get someone else’s advice.  However, if [...]
