Sunday's Questionables

O.k. folks, the early morning kick-off is about 1 1/2 hours away.  There are some names you may want to take a look at on your roster this weekend and consider putting them on the bench.  These are injury related questionables.

Brian Westbrook – Looks as though he will be out tonight against Chicago.  If he does play, it won’t be much.

  • Sit him if you can

Carson Palmer – The QB is nursing an injury and will be a game time decision.  He has a sore elbow.  The game today is against Cleveland another 0-3 team which might have made Palmer a good option.

  • Sit him.  Unless you have no other QB to start, why risk taking a zero on the roster spot that traditionally scores you solid points.

Devin Hester – Hester may be active for todays game against Philly, however, the report is that if he is active he will not see much on offense.

  • Even for a bye week fill in Hester doesn’t offer much today unless your ST points are outrageous.

Jerry Porter – The Jags WR will finally make his 2008 season debut.  Rusty, he likely won’t make much of an impact, but he could be a good bye-week filler if your pinched.

  • Bye week possibility

Brett Favre – Favre has an ankle injury and you have to believe that if he has been questionable all week and now suddenly is starting…consider his consecutive game starts record.  If Favre truly is bothered by an ankle injury he could be out of the game early or at the very least less mobile.

  • Risky start against a good front 4 Arizona defensive line

Matt Bryant – The Kicker for the Buc’s is reportedly going to play this weekend.  He lost his 3 month old son earlier in the week.
