So week 6 is a day away and your fretting over your line-ups. I know because I just finished resetting all mine for the 100th time this week. By now you probably have a good indication on how your team is going to do this year. Your either sitting at the bottom holding out mathematical hope for a playoff birth as the final seed, or your sitting at the top praying against injuries that could derail your season.
If your like me, you check your rosters daily, so with that being said, here are some changes you need to make before tomorrow’s games.
Out or likely out:
Chris Chambers – his knee injury has him listed as doubtful officially, but it looks like he will not play against the Patriots.
Anquan Boldin is once again out following his massive end-zone collision two weeks ago, start Steve Breaston instead…if you have him.
Brandon Lloyd of the Bears will miss this week as he recovers from an injury. Get him though as he is Kyle Orton’s favorite target and will be back and Orton actually is looking good.
Tony Scheffler is a scratch this week as he has a pulled groin.
Brian Westbrook doesn’t look to start once again as he is nursing broken ribs. Even if they say he will play…keep on the bench he won’t last too long when that pain kicks in.
Brown TE Kellen Winslow is still in the hospital and will not play.
Solid Match-ups:
Anyone starting in the Arizona vs. Dallas game that is not an Arizona RB should be a good start. These two teams will probably put some points on the board.
Chansi Stuckey of the NY Jets could have a good game as the Bengals will try and stop Lavernous Coles and Jericho Cotchery. Favre likes to check off a lot and Stuckey should have a decent game as a fill-in for your bye-week.
Lance Moore and Devery Henderson are a pick-em combo this weekend. The Saints got humiliated last week at home against the Vikings with very poor play on offense. The Raiders will have to face that wraith this week as they try and get their stuff together. Moore may be the better play. There is a rumor that Marques Colston will return, but don’t play him this week.
Devon Hester it seems is ready to start playing on offense. Back from his injury he adds another dimension to a surprisingly good Chicago Bear offense. Against Atlanta, he should be able to find some nice 9 routes.
Adrian Peterson should have a career day against the Lions.
