We’re putting on the pressure, like the Pistons did last night against those high flyin’ ball swattin’ Magic, who have been on fire as of late. Here are some news and notes from around the league that could help your lineups this Tuesday.
Looking for a somewhat decent big man to fill a back up role? How about Nenad Kristic? The Oklahoma City Thunder picked him up after the Nets didn’t match the offer of Oklahoma City. Sure, he isnt going to be a stud, but he could average 10 and 5 if he gets the starting nod (which he should).
Steve [...]

Drew Gooden, F- Gooden’s ankle has progressed well, and he could start tonight against the Nets. It is something to watch though, as we all know, ankle injuries are the toughest to gauge.

Cleveland-
Wally Szczerbiak, SF- Cleveland’s three point weapon could miss up to a week of action with contusions in his knee according to the AP.

The official 2008 fantasy football season is behind us officially now. It went by so fast. For those of you who rested your fate on the Quarterback, that hurts. Big Ben, Peyton, Tony Romo and Brett Favre either stunk it up, or left early to avoid injury. Anways, here is a look at what is coming up on Fantasy CPR.
We will make the switch to the Fantasy Basketball season, and try to either revive or keep your best lineup out there every night.
I’m just getting together the materials to put together a podcast. We will bring you a football review [...]

Lets get to it with our last injury report of the season, just hours before kickoff.
Arizona-Anquan Boldin, WR- Yet again Boldin is a game time decision. I wouldn’t plan on starting him, because it seems with a playoff run, the Cards will sit him to end the season.
Baltimore- Derrick Mason, WR-Despite having shoulder problems all week, Mason is scheduled to play this Sunday against the Jaguars. Jacksonville is 19th in pass defense, so Mason could be a strong start Today. Ray Rice, RB-Rice is listed as “iffy” for today’s game. Just like last week, I wouldn’t waste the Running Back [...]

Your not alone. This is waiver wire weekend where everyone who is saddled with Championships matches this weekend are all lined up and waiting to see who is going to sit, who is going to play, and what in the hell am I going to do with… Yep, your not alone.
My games ended last week and while I [...]

I can’t stand him. His act on the field is childish. He has been ruining quarterback’s careers since his days in San Francisco. Heck, I’m just a fantasy owner, who decided to draft him as my first wide receiver. I can’t imagine being Donovan McNabb, Jerry Jones, Wade Phillips, Tony Romo or anyone that has to deal with him on a daily basis.
Most years, I have told myself that Terrell Owens is not worth a top notch pick. His antics could lead to suspension, his play is sporatic, and even though this shouldn’t have anything to do it, I honestly [...]

Here is a detailed breakdown of Injuries heading into Sunday’s action:
Arizona-
Anquan Boldin, WR: The Cards will rest him and he most likely see playing time in Sunday’s match up against the Patriots. A blow for owners in the Championship game.
J.J. Arrington, RB: It seems that Tim Hightower will get most of the carries in this game, as Arrington will also be sitting because of a knee injury. Neither Boldin or Arrington have practiced all week.
Atlanta-
John Abraham, DE: Abraham has 15.5 sacks on the season, and is listed as questionable due to a death in the family. John Clayton of ESPN [...]
