Lets get to it with our last injury report of the season, just hours before kickoff.
Arizona-Anquan Boldin, WR- Yet again Boldin is a game time decision. I wouldn’t plan on starting him, because it seems with a playoff run, the Cards will sit him to end the season.
Baltimore- Derrick Mason, WR-Despite having shoulder problems all week, Mason is scheduled to play this Sunday against the Jaguars. Jacksonville is 19th in pass defense, so Mason could be a strong start Today. Ray Rice, RB-Rice is listed as “iffy” for today’s game. Just like last week, I wouldn’t waste the Running Back or Flex spot on Rice.
Buffalo-
Marshawn Lynch, RB- Lynch is listed as questionable, and the Bills have lifted Bruce Hall off the practice squad. It seems that Lynch will at least miss significant playing time against New England.
Cincinnati-
Chad Johnson, WR- Johnson is listed as questionable, but will most likely not play after not suiting up for Friday’s practice. T.J. Houshmandzadeh is probable for today as well as running back Cedric Benson.
Cleveland-
Joshua Cribbs, WR- Cribbs is listed as probable in what most likely will be the last game under the Romeo Crennel regime.
Kellen Winslow, TE- Winslow will be out yet again this weekend.
Dallas-
Marion Barber, RB- Barber will see limited duty if any on Sunday. Again Barber owners, I hate to inform you that Barber could be a bad start this week. In other Cowboy news, Roy Williams and Jason Witten are both probable.
Detroit-
Kevin Smith, RB- Smith is questionable for today’s game against the Green Bay Packers. Smith could be a lackluster start after a great week 16.
Calvin Johnson, WR- Johnson is probable. Without either of these two, the Lions do not really have any targets due to injuries all over the field.
Green Bay-
Donald Driver, WR- Driver is listed as probable and did practice this week. Facing the Lions, it is highly likely Driver will sit out the second half or more if it is a blowout early.
Greg Jennings, WR- Jennings will also play on Sunday. He was listed as probable, but has practiced all week.
Indianapolis-
Joseph Addai, RB- Addai could see a lot of playing time, especially with backup Dominic Rhodes out of action against the Titans.
Marvin Harrison, WR- Harrison is questionable this week, but don’t let that fool you. The Wide Receiver told Coach Dungy that he wants to play against the Titans, and that he is ready to go.
Jacksonville-
Maurice Jones-Drew, RB- Jones-Drew will start today against the Ravens. It will be interesting to see if Drew can finally get in a groove to end the season.
Minnesota-
Bernard Berrian, WR- Berrian is listed as questionable, because of struggles at practice this week. The Vikings are facing the Giants today, who have been solid at stopping the pass. I wouldn’t take the chance this week of Berrian playing.
New Orleans-
Jeremy Shockey, TE- Shockey is out of this week’s action against the Panthers. Shockey completely exploited the weak Lions defense this week, so the Panthers should be thankful.
Pierre Thomas, RB- Oh no! Fantasy CPR’s favorite sleeper pick this year could miss action today. Thomas missed three straight days of practice this week. With the Deuce loose as well, coach Sean Payton will not be that pressed to play Thomas.
New York Giants-
Brandon Jacobs, RB- Jacobs is questionable against the Vikings. It seems it would be smart for the Giants, who have locked the #1 seed, to sit Jacobs and rest him for the playoffs. Derrick Ward anyone?
New York Jets-
Laveranues Coles, WR- Coles is listed as questionable for today’s game against the Dolphins. Originally Coles was listed as probable earlier in the week.
Philadelphia-
Kevin Curtis, WR- Curtis should play today. He is listed as probable.
Brian Westbrook, RB- Westbrook is listed as probable. He should play but how effective will he be? Westbrook hasn’t put up good numbers that last three weeks.
Pittsburgh-
Ben Roethlisberger, QB- Ben’s ankle seems fine, and he is listed as probable against the Browns.
Seattle-
Matt Hasselbeck, QB- Seneca Wallace will get his fourth straight start today.
San Francisco-
Frank Gore, RB- Gore will play despite his knee injury this afternoon against the Redskins. Washington only gives up 93 yards a game on the ground, so sitting Gore might not be that crazy of a thought.
St. Louis-
Steven Jackson, RB- Jackson is probable, but he did miss practice earlier this week and was limited as well. Jackson is yet another guy I might lean against starting. If you are deep at the position, sit Jackson. Atlanta allows 122 yards on the ground, but in a game of possesion (A.K.A Micheal “The Burner” Turner), The Rams won’t have many oppurtunities to run the ball.
Tennesee-
LenDale White, RB- White missed all week due to sickness. He is listed as questionable. Since he is only a touchdown type point scorer, I would sit him. The Colts will be tough on the run as well, despite missing Bob Sanders.
