Chicago-

Drew Gooden, F- Gooden’s ankle has progressed well, and he could start tonight against the Nets. It is something to watch though, as we all know, ankle injuries are the toughest to gauge.

Luol Deng, F- Deng will miss up to seven days with an ankle injury. An MRI was negative this weekend.

Cleveland-

Wally Szczerbiak, SF- Cleveland’s three point weapon could miss up to a week of action with contusions in his knee according to the AP.

Golden State-

Corey Maggette, G- Maggette is out with a hamstring injury and does not have a timetable. It will be hard to tell when Maggette sees action again. Kelenna Azubuike could be a good pick up to replace Maggette.

Monta Ellis, G- Ellis is not expected to be back until late in January at the earliest. We are getting closer to a waiver wire pick up, but we are not quite there yet.

Houston-

Tracy McGrady, G- McGrady sat out Saturday’s action and is day-to-day with a sore left knee. It seems that T-Mac will be back in the lineup soon, but you never know. Shane Battier though is healthy and back to full strength.

Memphis-

Darko Milicic, C- Darko broke a knuckle on Friday, and is listed as day to day. I honestly think that Darko will be overtaken by rookie Marc Gasol as the official starter in the middle.

Sacramento-

Kevin Martin, G- Martin has made “leaps and bounds” in practice throughout the weekend, but could still miss action this week. He is day-to-day.

Utah-

Mehmet Okur, C/F-  Okur missed his third straight game with back problems, but is still listed as day-to-day.

Paul Millsap, F- Millsap will miss a week to ten games with a knee injury.

Washington-

Gilbert Arenas, G- Though the Wizards will not be making a run at the post-season, various reports out there are saying that the Wizards will continue with the plan of bringing back agent zero before the season is over.
