We’re putting on the pressure, like the Pistons did last night against those high flyin’ ball swattin’ Magic, who have been on fire as of late. Here are some news and notes from around the league that could help your lineups this Tuesday.

  • Looking for a somewhat decent big man to fill a back up role? How about Nenad Kristic? The Oklahoma City Thunder picked him up after the Nets didn’t match the offer of Oklahoma City. Sure, he isnt going to be a stud, but he could average 10 and 5 if he gets the starting nod (which he should).
  • Steve Nash told the Arizona Republic that he is “very questionable” to play today. He is suffering back spasms. There has not been a comfirmed date on when he will return.
  • Raja Bell will be out of Tuesday’s action between the Bobcats and the Knicks. Bell has a sore groin.
  • Eddy Curry admitted today in the press that he is at least two weeks away from practicing. So don’t get your hypes up.
  • According to the San Francisco Chonicle, Corey Maggette will be coming back this week on the Warriors three game road trip later this week.
