A happy Friday to you as we head into the all-star break. A lot of news is circulating, trade bait has been layed out. Now we just wait for the big bite.
Trade Talk:
Amare what?-
The Heat, Grizzlies and Suns are reportedly discussing a three-team trade that would send Amare Stoudemire to Miami, Michael Beasley to Memphis and both Rudy Gay and Shawn Marion to Phoenix.

Scratch that idea now that Oneal and Marion swapped spots in Toronto. Poor Shawn. Goes from one of the most versatile forwards to just someone worth trading two times in the last two season. He could fit well in purple though
Vinceanity at the deadline?!?!
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports is reporting that the Nets and Mavericks have swapped proposals to trade Vince Carter, Keyon Dooling, and Eduardo Najera to the Mavericks for Josh Howard and Jerry Stackhouse, but that the trade is not yet “imminent”.
If this trade becomes “imminent,” I believe Kiki Vandeweghe is the best GM in the league, for stealing talent from the Mavericks yet again. Even if this deal went down, the Nets wouldnt be giving up on a playoff shot. at 24-29, there is still room for improvement, and Howard brings a slasher, who can shoot, and Stackhouse, who only god knows what his ability is at this point.
The Injury Report:
Jason Terry believes he will be back, “sooner rather than later” in regards to his recent injucry. Terry doesn’t have an injury history, so I don’t think it is crazy to think that he could be back directly after the all-star break.
Jameer Nelson will be out for the rest of the season. This news has many wondering if the Magic will be heavy hunters for a guard before the deadline. Sergio Rodriguez seems like a great fit, alongside Raymond Felton, if trade talks break down (it seems they have) with the Pacers.
A Feb. 17th debut for Carlos Boozer is now in question. The Utah forward was cleared to run, but seems a bit behind schedule at the moment.
