One of the most stacked positions in the Draft, One could feel that waiting until the middle of the draft will still allow for forgiveness. I tend to disagree. If you have a middle of the round pick, the talent at the first base position needs to be addressed in your lineup. Here are the Fantasy CPR Top 20 First Baseman to start 2009.
1. Albert Pujols, Cardinals- Do I even dare say duh? If you are not drafting first, and Pujols is available, then it is an obligation and rule of the fantasy baseball gods to draft Pujols. Does it [...]

1. Brian McCann, Atlanta- Undoubtedly the best catcher in the draft. In his first three seasons he has averaged a .300 average and twenty home runs. Though he won’t play every single game, he will get in at least 140 games next year. Hitting in the middle of the Braves lineup [...]
For the 2009 Cincinatti Reds, a new type of power is running the show. No, It’s not the seasonal 40 home run machine, or the Kid, who has generated more home runs in his career, than the whole projected lineup has. Yet the Reds offer a lot of fantasy options for any owner. Joe Dexter explains.
After watching a round of the World Baseball Classic, it is clear to me that Bud Selig just might be able to do something right in his infamous tenure as Major League Baseball’s commissioner.
A frst round, that saw possibly the biggest underdog in competiton, the Dutchmen of the Netherlands get the job done twice against arguably the best lineup in competition. Combine that with some great young talent, such as Greg Halman, who is considered by many to be Seattles number [...]
