NFL Draft Thoughts: Three Days Away

AUTHOR: joe dexter | IN: Fantasy News, Featured, NFL | COMMENTS: None Yet

It’s rapidly approaching. Mel Kiper’s hair is being set into place, the Lights are shining brightly in the war rooms and green rooms throughout the Radio City Hall.
Somewhere in New York City, a Jet fan has already painted the Green and White all over his face. Another one desperately hopes the likes of Mark Sanchez will fall into the teams laps. On the other side of the pond is the Giants fan. They are praying and pleading to management. They want to make a big splash, to insure that Eli has a true partner in crime.   Four hundred and eighty [...]

Monday Morning Rant:Kevin Gregg doesn't have what it takes

AUTHOR: joe dexter | IN: Fantasy News, Featured, MLB | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

Kevin Gregg isn’t going to hold up. To be quite frank, Carlos Villanueva has a better shot at being a full season closer. The Cubs are in a must win time in their franchise. Jim Hendry has built a must win squad, that has all the studs to make it to the World Series; The Whole Enchilada. But to get to the big dance, it’s going to take a realigning of that bullpen.

Full Court Press 4/8: Griffin, Whiffin' and The Tank isn't Empty

AUTHOR: joe dexter | IN: Fantasy News, Featured, Full Court Press, MLB | COMMENTS: None Yet

It’s hump day! The sun is out here in Northern Michigan, and my computer has been running non stop, keeping up with the baseball action on MLB.tv. Now that the baseball action has slowed (for a few hours at least) the news has been gathered for you. Let’s get it started in here!
NBA:
-Blake Griffin will be making the jump. There isn’t a doubt that Griffin will have fantasy value in 2010. Griffin, who averaged just above 22.5 points a game in his colligate career, could put up similar numbers that Kevin Durant put up in his rookie season.
-Kevin Martin could [...]
