Quick Hits: Preseason Reactions

by Fantasy News

These thoughts are nothing more than my gut feelings after seeing a few minutes of some random preseason games. Take them for what they are worth, which might not be much.

It looks like Mark Sanchez might be on track to start for the Jets.

I think the 49ers will run a lot this year. A whole lot.

Vernon Davis looks pretty good.

I think Sage Rosenfels will be the starter in Minnesota.

Jeremy Shockey had a nice day for New Orleans. He reportedly was working out with Drew Brees consistently over the summer.

Darren McFadden had a huge day for Oakland. I think he will be the Raiders offense. And I think Oakland’s running game might be pretty good. Having Lorenzo Neal as a fullback never hurts.

LeSean McCoy is being groomed to take over for Brian Westbrook in Philadelphia. It might happen this year.

Tom Brady is back.

Even without Rex Ryan and Bart Scott, Baltimore’s defense is still good.

Limas Sweed looks like he’s figuring things out for the Steelers.

Arizona’s wide receivers are really good. Which means Kurt Warner is probably gold this year if he’s healthy.

Cincinnati’s passing game might be dangerous if Carson Palmer has time to throw. Chris Henry and Ochocinco look very good.

Nate Washington was getting a lot of touches in the Tennessee offense. And LenDale White looks great.

Trent Edwards should benefit from having both T.O. and Lee Evans as targets.

I have a feeling Brandon Marshall is getting traded. The Broncos wideouts didn’t seem so bad without him. And Eddie Royal is good.

Kyle Boller still needs work at quarterback. And keep an eye on the Rams’ Laurent Robinson. He could be a deep sleeper.
