ESPN 96-100

Here they are, the final five. ESPN’s rankings followed by my analysis.

96. Felix Jones, Dallas, RB

The early reports on Jones are good and he should get around 10-15 touches per game in the Dallas offense. Marion Barber will still get the goal-line carries, but Jones has home-run potential every time he gets the ball. Plus, Barber is due to break down given his physical running style. I like Jones as a third RB this season.

97. Steve Breaston, Arizona, WR

Breaston might be the most valuable third receiver in the entire NFL. Arizona will continue to throw the football frequently and Breaston should benefit. He finished 25th among wideouts in PPR leagues last season and should be near the top 30 once again.

98. Greg Olsen, Chicago, TE

Olsen should probably be drafted a little bit higher considering he might be the Bears’ top target. Chicago doesn’t have any star-studded wideouts and Olsen has developed some chemistry with new quarterback Jay Cutler. I like Olsen as a top tight end available a round or two later than the typical studs.

99. LeRon McClain, RB, Baltimore

It’s hard to get too excited about McClain, who probably won’t get more than 10 touches a game, if that. He could reach 15 touchdowns if Baltimore gives him all the goal-line carries, but he doesn’t figure to get much yardage.  In my opinion, McClain is a risky No. 3 RB. Take a late-round flyer on a rookie instead.

100. LeSean McCoy, Philadelphia, RB

McCoy could be a steal if Brian Westbrook misses significant time to an injury. Drafting with an injury in mind is always dangerous, but McCoy should have some value regardless. I’d take him over McClain and perhaps a few others if you’re looking for upside. If you want some consistency, look somewhere else.
