The Minnesota Vikings have placed QB Tarvaris Jackson on season ending IR. Kind of shocking that he would be on IR instead of QB/Warrior Brett Favre.

Rookie 6th round pick Joe Webb is in line to make the start Monday night when the Vikings host the Chicago Bears.

Fantasy wise, Webb is a borderline desperate/hail mary type of play. Webb was drafted as a WR and may have dual QB/WR eligibility in your league which would increase his potential to make your starting lineup. His potential of racking up some rushing yards from one of your 3-5 WR spots could be worth the play.

Webb is a mobile QB and could look to run early and often when he faces pressure from a Bears D looking to rebound from the thumping they received at the hand of the Patriots.

If you have the space, pick him up and keep him on your bench. You may not need him, but someone else will grab him if he has a decent game on Monday.
