Can Tim put up 25 pass td's with 10 rush td's if given that starting job in Denver? (Picture source:

2011 Fantasy Football Sleepers

Hey, I know the NFL lockout is still going on, but I just heard/read some interesting news the other day! There was a meeting of the minds in Chicago (or western suburbs) on Tuesday. New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, and of course Commissioner Roger Goodell all got together. It goes without saying that Jones and Kraft are two of the most powerful owners in the NFL. So, this meeting was hopefully to finally take the steps needed to end the lockout once and for all!

Man, lets get the NFL season started!

Well, on that note. I will now let you in on some  players who I believe are in-store for a good year!

Not ranked, or in any sort of order…..

Mark Ingram, New Orleans Saints. Pierre Thomas has fallen out of favor with the Saints! Plain and simple I think Mark gets a shot at the starting  job. Do not draft him as a strong number two RB though. I have him ranking at 25 as of right now, which makes Mark more of a number three RB then a two. If you can draft him after round 8….go for it. The Saints have a very explosive offence and if Mark gets the goal line carries, he will have tons of value this year!

Jordan Shipley, Cincinnati Bengals. Could Jordan be the second coming of Wes Welker?? Well, I won’t go that far, but if Chad leaves, and Terrell Owens leaves Jordan’s value will go way up! Take a late round pick, and swing for the fence. You might hit a home run with Jordan this year!

Daniel Thomas, Miami Dolphins. Two rookies in my sleeper picks?? You think I would have learned from Ryan Mathews last year. Well, the difference is with Mark, and Daniel I’m not hyping them up to be drafted in the 1st round! Listen, if Ronnie Brown or Ricky Williams leaves this kid will have value. I believe they drafted Thomas to start! Take a chance on him after round 9 or so.

Anthony Armstrong, Washington Redskins. Not sure what’s going to happen with Moss, but  Armstrong could have a break out year. Last years numbers were 44 rec 871 yards and 3 td’s. Look for him to improve on everything this year. Take a late round flyer, and see what happens.

Tim Tebow, Denver Broncos. In his rookie year he compiled 654 yards passing with 5 td’s and 227 rushing with 6 td’s. The 6 rushing td’s were second to only Michael Vick which had 9. If  Tim ends up the starting QB take a flyer on him. QB’s that can get you rush yards with td’s are very valuable! Look at Vick last year….enough said.
