According to multiple reports (ESPN and others) Ryan Braun has tested positive for performance enhancing drugs and faces a 50 game suspension. He’s contesting the findings and according to his people there are “highly unusual circumstances.” Nothing’s final yet, but make sure to follow this story as we get closer to draft time as this seriously affects his value since he’ll potentially miss the first 3rd of the season. He’s an obvious 1st rounder if he’s not suspended, but falls out of the top 4 rounds and becomes a risky pick if he’s out the first 50.
