There’s some key injuries as we head into this weekend and yesterday’s practice reports gave us much more clarity about who’s in and who’s out as we head into a playoff week for most involved with Fantasy Football. You can’t afford to play a guy who gets you nothin’ so make sure if guys are out, they’re on your bench and if you need to make a move and grab a fill-in you get it done. So from Michael Vick all the way to Scott Chandler, here’s the latest…
Michael Vick-Eagles-QB: He took all the snaps this week in practice and is fully expected to play Sunday agains the Dolphins.
Adrian Peterson-Vikings-RB: Limited in practice the last 2 days and said he may have problems making cuts on Sunday. He’ll be a game-time decision so come back Sunday for the final verdict.
Willis McGahee-Broncos-RB: Listed as questionable with his knee issue, but he is expected to play against the Bears and in the Broncos current offense he’s an RB1.
Jeremy Maclin-Eagles-WR: Maclin went through a full practice yesterday and should return Sunday against Miami. He’s a WR2 as long as he’s active with WR1 upside since DJax has fallen out of favor. The ‘Phins pass defense is suspect so start him if you’ve got him.
Andre Johnson-Texans-WR: Out.
Wes Welker-Patriots-WR: Limited in practice, but is probalby and should be ready for his normal workload.
Roddy White-Falcons-WR: Full practice. Good to go.
Kevin Smith-Lions-RB: limited in practice again on his bum ankle and listed as questionable. Most of the Detroit writers think he’s not going to play on Sunday and even if he does he’ll be limited so look elsewhere for Sunday.
Beanie Wells-Cardinals-RB: Probable, but against the Niners defense you probably shouldn’t.
Miles Austin-Cowboys-WR: Questionable, but expected to play on Sunday Night.
Michael Turner-Falcons-RB: Probable and against the Panthers run D he makes a nice start.
Julio Jones-Falcons-WR: Full Practice. Good to go.
Cedric Benson-Bengals-RB: Listed as probable and ready to go.
Mark Ingram-Saints-RB: Out. Upgrade your other Saints RB’s
Mario Manningham-Giants-WR: Listed as probable and ready to go for Sunday night.
Ahmad Bradshaw-Giants-RB: Probably for Sunday night.
Brandon Jacobs-Giants-RB: Probable for Sunday night.
James Starks-Packers-RB: Out. Brandon Saine, welcome to the big time.
Nate Washington-Titans-WR: No practice this week so even if he tries to go on his ankle, try to look somewhere else.
Josh Freeman-Bucs-QB: Freeman was limited in practice and is listed as questionable but is expected to start on Sunday. Check back Sunday to be sure, but he looks ready to play.
Christian Ponder-Vikings-QB: Questionable and unsure of if he’ll play or if so how effective he’ll be. His status doesn’t affect Percy Harvin too much since Joe Webb targeted Harvin constantly last year when he was the starter. Check back Sunday to see if Ponder’s usable or not.
Laurent Robinson-Cowboys-WR: Listed as questionable but should play. He’ll be behind Dez Bryant and Miles Austin as the #3 WR so his numbers may suffer due to that and not the injury.
Joe McKnight-Jets-RB: Game-time decision.
Dallas Clark-Colts-TE: He’ll play, but it shows how bad the Colts are that noone really cares that much.
Chaz Schilens-Raiders-WR: He made it out of the MASH unit that is the Raiders WR corps and will start this week against a beatable Packers secondary. He’s not a bad WR3 or flex play in PPR leagues.
Jacoby Ford-Raiders-WR: Out.
Denarius Moore-Raiders-WR: Out.
Braylon Edwards-49ers-WR: He’s listed as questionable and is expected to play, but wait and see how he is before throwing him back in your lineup. He may be worked back in slowly over the next couple weeks.
Tavaris Jackson-Seahawks-QB: says he’s back at full strength so use him as you normally would… which means stay away if possible.
Sam Bradford-Rams-QB: Both he and AJ Feeley are not playing Monday Night making Tom Brandstater the Rams starter. Start the Seahawks defense with the utmost confidence.
Scott Chandler-Bills-TE: Out
