As you make your all-important lineup decisions for week 15 (mega-preview here), here’s the latest coming out of Friday’s practices on the injury front.
Wes Welker-Patriots-WR: Limited but expected to play. Try to have a later option in case of a surprise inactive just to be sure, but he should be good to go.
Beanie Wells-Cardinals RB: Fully practiced and is a top 5 RB option against a Browns run defense that’s shreddable.
Adrian Peterson-Vikings-RB: will play Sunday but may be limited to some extent. He’s still a RB1 in all leagues.
Andre Johnson-Texans-WR: Out for this week and most doubt he’ll play next week. Best case appears to be a week 17 return to get ready for the playoffs.
Kevin Smith-Lions-RB: Expected to start on Sunday against the Raiders and is a high-risk, high-reward RB2.
Ben Roethlisberger-Steelers-QB: Ben had a limited practice Friday making him more likely to start and play Monday which is what I thought would happen all along.
Matt Moore-Dolphins-QB: He’s “questionable” but expected to play on Sunday against the weak Bills secondary.
Patrick Willis-49ers-LB: Not expected to play Monday making the Steelers offense slightly better plays.
James Harrison-Steelers-LB: Will not play Monday as he serves his one-game suspension. The Niners offense are slightly better plays as a result.
Kyle Orton-Chiefs-QB: Returned to full practice Friday and is expected to start against the beatable Packers secondary.
Matt Hasselbeck-Titans-QB: Practiced for 2 days in a row and looks to be the starter for Sunday against he Colts. He’s a low end-QB1 with that matchup
Jeremy Maclin-Eagles-WR: full practice and even though he’s listed as questionable Andy Reid said he will play.
Kevin Kolb-Cardinals-QB: He’s a gametime decision, but most expect John Skelton to start.
Colt McCoy-Browns-QB: Officially out. So will James Harrison for putting him that way as he serves his suspension.
Nate Washington-Titans-WR: Washington returned to practice and will play Sunday against the Colts.
James Starks-Packers-RB: He said he plans to play, but will be a gametime decision.
Denarius Moore-Raiders-WR: practiced for the 3rd day in a row and looks good to start and get a lot of work on Sunday against the Lions.
Sam Bradford-Rams-QB: Doubtful for Sunday giving Kellen Clemens the start.
Mark Ingram-Saints-RB: He’s been ruled out for week 15.
Darren McFadden-Raiders-RB: Officially out for this week.
Brandon Saine-Packers-RB: Still hasn’t practiced and isn’t expected to play.
Arrelius Benn-Bucs-WR: Out with a concussion meaning that Dezmon Briscoe will get the start opposite Mike Williams on Saturday Night Football agains the Cowboys.
