Fantasy Sports Daily Rounds-December 19

What a day in the NFL yesterday! Week 15 saw the losers of 13 previous games win and the winners of 13 previous games lose, and that was just the beginning of the excitement. At noon, we’ll have the final analysis of everything fantasy football in week 15.

Make sure you come back for that, and earlier this morning we’ll continue our bowl breakdown series with a look at the Independence Bowl which will see Missouri take on North Carolina. Both teams have future NFL stars filling the field on defense and intriguing young offensive players as well. We’ll have the full breakdown of that bowl at 10:30 this morning…

Later this afternoon, we’ll roll out our Fantasy NBA coverage and announce an exciting league featuring some of the best bloggers from across the FanSided NBA network. All the details come your way before Monday Night Football… Speaking of which, of course we’ll have the latest on Big Ben’s status leading up to game time, but as of now it looks like he’ll be good to go for the Steelers.

Have a great sports-filled Monday, and keep on coming back to FantasyCPR, where sports lives 365…Before we get to all our coverage, check out my Streak for the Cash picks after the jump:

Yesterday, I got double wins thanks to the Dolphins and Philip Rivers. It takes my current streak up to a 7-game winning streak, and here’s what I’m thinking for today’s picks.

7:00-Toronto Maple Leafs: Toronto hosts the struggling LA Kings. The Kings can’t score lately having scored two goals or fewer in 11 games in a row. They’re coming off a crushing at the hands of the Red Wings 8-2. Toronto lost to Vancouver in their last game, but at home I like them to triumph over the Kings with a confidence level (CL) of 3 1/2 out of 5.

10:20-21 points or fewer: I’ll see how this one’s going in the first half before deciding my confidence level, but as you can read in my preview I think this will be an extremely low-scoring game. My initial thoughts would be CL: 3, but we’ll see how the first half goes down before making a final decision on whether to put my streak on the line in this one.

current streak: W7

record for the month: 28-11-0
