With a full streak board and not much time let’s get to the “quick hits” picks for today.
Last night wasn’t so kind to me as the Maple Leafs and Heat went down on the road to Buffalo and Denver respectively so I start today on an L2 with nothing to lose.
12:00-Kentucky wins by double digits: Kentucky goes into a hostile environment when they visit 8-8 Tennessee. The Thompson-Boling Arena will be rocking and drowning in Orange, but I think the Wildcats are good enough to go in and get a big conference win on the road. Tennessee is a solid team as it showed by hanging with Miss St. on Thursday, but UK is just at another level.
4:35-New Orleans Saints-I broke this one down San Francisco 49ers-Pick and Analysis” href=”http://fantasycpr.com/2012/01/12/nfl-playoffs-new-orleans-saints-vs-san-francisco-49ers-pick-and-analysis/”>here and my fantasy football playoff challenge life depends on it. I think New Orleans gets it done. At the very beginning of the year in an article I wrote for a previous site I picked New England over New Orleans in the super bowl. I’m sticking with ‘em but the Niners D is no joke.
8:05-Nashville Predators-Going with the home team that’s won 6 of 7 and 4 in a row. The Flyers haven’t won at Nashville since 2000. I’d go with the Pats margin, but the volatility on that one against Tebow’s completions scares me away. I’ll go skating instead with the Preds.
