Streak for the Cash Picks-February 11

Today’s Streak for the Cash offers all kinds of options starting with EPL action and running through the college hoops slate in the afternoon before finishing with NBA and NHL action along with the #1 Kentucky Wildcats playing on the road. Plenty of picking to be done today…

Last night, my picks were both tense, close, and late; but they both ended up going my way and getting my streak back up to 5. Last time I got to 5+, I was a little to tenative and lost my streak anyway. So today I’m still goin’ for it with these picks:

1:05-Syracuse by double digits: ‘Cuse has dominated at home and UCONN has struggled everywhere while dropping 5 of their last 6. Their last game was a 21 point loss on the road at Louisville and they are 2-5 on the road.  The Huskies lost by double digits on the road at Seton Hall, Georgetown, and Louisville. Syracuse can play bett then all of those teams and should be able to handle UCONN at the Carrier Dome where they haven’t lost this season.

6:05-Michigan State single digit loss or win: OSU was challenged at home for the first time since the beginning of the year in their last game against Purdue. Now they face the Spartans in what I think will be a hard-fought close game from start to finish. MSU is young, but have been playing very well lately winning 4 of 5 with the 1 loss being by 1 point. They haven’t lost by double digits since they played on the Carrier to open the season. Although I don’t know if they’ll win outright, I’ll take them easily getting the 10 points.

9:05-Orlando Magic: I’m going against my back-to-back on the road philosophy here, but I just don’t see how the Bucks are stopping Dwight Howard… Drew Gooden? Really?? I’ll take Orlando in this one to finish out my pick-day.
