Streak for the Cash Picks-February 22

Thanks for your patience as we continue to migrate our servers which made some posts late today, including this one. That being said, there’s plenty of picks on the Streak board to keep us going the rest of the day. Here’s who I’ve got:

2:45-Basel to lose by 1, win, or draw: Basel is the home team in this UEFA round of 16 so giving them a goal seems extremely generous. I’ll take it, and them to get back in the green.

Feb. 20, 2012; Los Angeles, CA, USA; Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant (24) misses a dunk as Portland Trail Blazers center Marcus Camby (23) defends during the first half of the game at the Staples Center. Mandatory Credit: Jayne Kamin-Oncea-US PRESSWIRE

7:05-Notre Dame: The Irish host WVU in what should be a good Big East game. Because they are at home and they’ve already beat the Mountaineers in Morgantown, I’ll the ND to win their 9th in a row.

9:40-Kobe: Kobe comes out of the gate in most games extremely agressive. Dirk will have Gasol guarding him while Kobe will have the smaller guards from the Mavs trying to guard him. Even though this is in Dallas and I think the Mavs will probably win the game, I’m comfortable taking Kobe to take this prop.

11:10-Long Beach State double digits: After loing to Creighton their last time out Long Beach State will be at home as they return to Big West play, where they’re 12-0, to host UC-Santa Barbara. UCSB is 9-3 in conference and no pushover. Long Beach beat them by 23 at Santa Barbara earlier this year, so I’ll go with the 49ers to win by 10 or more this time over the Gauchos.

Current streak: L1

Record for the month: 38-14
