Philadelphia Phillies 2012 Team Preview-Fantasy Baseball

by MLB

Everyone knows about the Phillies aces, but their batting lineup is also very good and can hang with the best.  With injuries to 2 of their best players, they still have some good hitters and will do some damage early on.

Most Underrated

Hunter Pence-Pence came to the Phillies last season and hit the ball very well and with the players around him he should do very well again and put up very good numbers.

Most Overrated

Ryan Howard-His injury scares me and his numbers have be declining the last couple of years.  He is ownable when he returns but don’t expect him to put up the kind of numbers he normally would.

Potential Fantasy Sleeper

Shane Victorino-Although Victorino is known around the league, he is still a sleeper in most fantasy drafts.  He is good in all areas and with the players around him, he is a fantasy stud that is under appreciated.
