Streak for the Cash Picks-March 30

We’re down to just 2 days left in the month, and Streak for the Cash players are feeling the pressure as we come to the end of what has been a mad, mad March. There’s 10 games on the board for today, and hopefully we can find green in enough of them to get to our goal, whatever that may be.

I got 2 of my 3 picks right yesterday, getting green from the Coyotes to end the day and start me on a W1 today. Here’s how I plan on finishing the month strong:

12:00-Paderborn: win or draw: Normally I’s stay away from the German 2. Bundesliga, but it’s the end of the month, so I’ll go for it. Braunschweig is 1-6-1 in the past 2 months and they only beat the worst team in the league. It’s not a lock or anything, but it’s the better pick, IMO. Confidence meter: 3 out of 10

7:30-Detroit Red Wings: The Wings are good at home, maybe you’ve heard. Both these teams have clinched but they may be opponents in round 1 so don’t expect anyone to be lying down for this one. They’d be the 4-5 so this game will go a long way to determining home-ice advantage. The season series is currently 3-2 Red Wings. Neither team is in full-stride right now as they struggle to the tape, but I think Joe Louis Arena gives this one to the Wings. Confidence meter-5.

10:40-Clippers by double digits: The Blazers won last night at home against the Hornets and will now head South to face the Clippers at the Staples Center. The Clippers are the clear favorite, but the prop says they have to win by double-digits. If they do, it will be the first time all year that they’ve beaten Portland by that much. They’ve won by 3 and 5 while losing by 8. However, Portland has changed a lot since those earlier matchups trading away Gerald Wallace and Marcus Camby and entering a quasi-rebuilding. Since they’re on the back half of a back-to-back, they might come out flat and get steamrolled. The Clippers need the win to stay in position to get home court in the Western Conference so I think Blake, CP3, and friends will cruise in this but my Confidence Meter is only at 4.
