Sunday Streakers will have 18 picks to choose from in ESPN’s Streak for the Cash. There’s a ton of variety on the board as the push for the playoffs in the NBA, the NHL’s first round of the playoffs, and early season baseball are joined by the MLS, NCAA Women’s Softball, and a little golf from San Antonio.
Yesterday started poorly, but ended well as I split my 4 picks 2-2 finishing with double green thanks to the Blues and Jazz. There aren’t enough muical team names to get me through the whole day today though so here’s my quick picks with the level each ranks (out of 10) on my confidence meter.
1:10-Texas Rangers: The Rangers lineup is really good right now so I can’t trust a rookie against the quickly maturing Colby Lewis. Confidence Level-6
6:05-New York Red Bulls win or draw: The Red Bulls have only lost 2 times in their first 1o and are a better overall team than DC United. I think a draw is a likely option here, but since the Red Bulls get thee W and the draw, they’re the smart pick. confidence meter-6.5
9:35-Hornets single digit loss or win: The Hornets get 10 points as they head to LA in this prop. This game could get a little testy after the two tangled in their last meeting with Blake Griffin and Jason Smith going at it. The Hornets are playing much better and have Eric Gordon back. If Gordon plays, I think he’ll be motivated in his return to LA. New Orleans will keep this one close throughout I think. Confidence Meter-3
