Streak for the Cash Picks, April 29

There’s 20 matchups on the Sunday Streak for the Cash board over on ESPN which means as we come to the end of the month there’s plenty of opportunity for you to get your streak on and build to whatever goal you’re trying to reach in the next couple days as April draws to a close.

Yesterday I split my picks losing at both ends of the day. I was pretty pumped for the Nats-Dodgers game and thought I had the green until the Nats new closer came in and blew up. Matt Kemp finished me off in the 10th and started me today on an L1. I’m hoping to turn it around with these picks. Normally, I’d give a little more analysis, but here’s the quick hits.

8:30-Chelsea by 2: At the time of writing this, the Blues are already underway, but hopefully my green starts here. Confidence Meter: 6

1:05-Spurs by double Digits: San Antonio should be well rested, are more playoff proven, and open at home. I don’t think the Jazz can steal game one, so the question is can they keep it within ten. I think they will early, but the Spurs homecourt and their depth will get them an easy win against Utah to start the series. Confidence Meter: 6

4:10-Washington Nationals: Gio Gonzalez will try and get the Nationals a win in LA as he takes his 20-innings scoreless streak to the hill to face the red-hot Dodgers. Chris Capuano got his 2nd win in his last start and has pitched well so far this season. The two left-handed starters will face off in a great game at Chavez Ravine. Confidence Meter: 3

7:10-Boston Celtics: The Celtics have looked good the second half of the year and the Hawks disappear in the playoffs. Boston got the rest they needed and I think they’re primed for a solid playoff run. I think they’ll get game 1 on the road as they open their series tonight. Confidence Meter: 5

10:20-Any other Result: Odds are almost always any other results, as the prop get’s closer I’ll let you know on twitter @FantasyCPR if this pick changes.

Go get your green!

Current Streak: L2

Overall Record for the month: 56-51

Picks with Confidence +5: 21-17
