Streak for the Cash Picks, May 2

After a solid start yesterday, it’s time to build on your green-streak in ESPN’s Streak for the Cash mini-game. There’s plenty of options to choose from today starting with the Greek Super League playoffs this morning running through the Primera Division in Spain, afternoon Major League Baseball, EPL soccer, and plenty more baseball, before finishing with the NBA and NHL playoffs tonight.

Yesterday, my total picks were a mixed bag. Liverpool’s lineup change scared me off that pick, but I went with the Braves resetting my streak. I went proppy with the NBA game and dropped the Afflalo-Bynum prop before closing with green with the over for the 3rd quarter.

Here’s the picks I like for today:

2:05-Houston Astros: Wandy Rodriguez has been pitching well for the Astros and their lineup is better than many people think. If you’ve checked out our daily sleeper central, you know that Jose Altuve, JD Martinez, and Jed Lowrie are forming a solid center to the ‘Stros lineup and I think they’ll take care of the Mets at Minute Maid in the matinee. Confidence Meter: 7 (out of 10)

6:35-Milwaukee Brewers: The Brew-crew send Yovani Gallardo to the hill against Jeff Suppan who is being pressed into the rotation with the absence of Cory Leubke. This pick comes down to Gallardo who was solid his first 3 starts before getting crushed in his last outing but St. Louis. I think he’ll bounce back and I don’t think the Padres will be able to shut down Ryan Braun and the Brewers bats 2 days in a row. Confidence Meter: 6

9:45-Clippers 3-pointers made: The Clippers showed their mental toughness in their big comeback in game 1 against the Grizz. I think whoever wins game 2, it will be a close hard-fought game that will come down to the 4th quarter. After last game, I can’t pick against CP3 and Blake in the 4th and all they have to do to win this prop is keep it close. I think the Grizz pull this one out but only but 3 or 4 while the Clippers make 7 or 8 threes. Confidence Meter: 4

Current Streak: W1

Overall Record for the month: 2-3

Picks with Confidence +5: 0-1
