Streak for the Cash Picks-May 6

This Sunday on Streak for the Cash there’s a nice blend of NBA, NHL, MLB, and even a little women’s college softball to keep us interested. There’s 20 picks on the board, and these are the four that I like the most.

May 4, 2012; Philadelphia, PA, USA; Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard Evan Turner (12) and small forward Andre Iguodala (9) celebrate win against the Chicago Bulls in game three in the Eastern Conference quarterfinals of the 2012 NBA Playoffs at Wells Fargo Arena. The 76ers defeated the Bulls 79-74 to take a 2-1 lead in the series. Mandatory Credit: Eric Hartline-US PRESSWIRE

1:06-Philadelphia 76ers: The Bulls have lost 2 consecutive games without Derrick Rose and may be without Joakim Noah in this game as well. The Sixers play well at home, and will be able to put a choke-hold on this series by winning this one. Confidence Meter: 6

4:05-San Francisco Giants: Matt Cain has given up just two runs in his first 3 home starts with two complete-game shutouts. He’ll face the Brewers who are struggling offensively and Shaun Marcum who is 1-1 with a 3.19 ERA to start the season. As long as the Giants can come up with a couple runs, they should have this one. Confidence Meter: 5

7:15-173 or fewer: If you’ve been watching this series you know they’ve been hard-fought low-scoring defensive games. The only game so far with more than 170 points was the last game and that was because of the overtime scoring. Go under, get green. Confidence Meter: 6

9:45-Denver Nuggets: This series goes how Andrew Bynum goes for LA. Denver looked awfully good while running the Lakers off the floor in game three. I think they can even it up tonight in game four, but you can’t be too confident picking against Kobe in the playoffs. Confidence Meter: 3

Current Streak: L1

Overall Record for the month: 10-9

Picks with Confidence +5: 3-3
