Streak for the Cash Picks-May 13

17 picks are on the board on this busy Sunday in ESPN’s Streak for the Cash. There’s playoff basketball, playoff hockey, lacrosse, golf, soccer, and plenty of early season baseball.

My picks have struggled since I took 2 days off, so hopefully my penance is done and I can find some green on today’s board with these three picks.

1:00-Clippers 3 pointers made or Tie: I’d have a hard time picking this straight up since I’m not sure if I could pick against CP3 in a “closer” game even as limited as he is. Getting the three-pointers in a prop over winning margin makes it an easy pick for me since I think it’ll be close either way. Confidence Meter: 6 (out of 10)

4:10-Arizona Diamondbacks: I think Joe Saunders will bounce back from his worst start of the year. Barry Zito has struggled in Arizona (1-4 with a 6.45 ERA), and I like the snakes lineup better than the Giants. Confidence Meter: 5

8:00-Texas Rangers: It’s a great Sunday night matchup as Jered Weaver faces the Rangers. I’ll take Texas at home since they’ve pretty much had their way with Weaver recently (1-6 and 5.35 ERA in his last 11 starts in Arlington). Josh Hamilton>Albert Pujols. Confidence Meter:6

Current Streak: L4

Overall Record for the month: 14-19

Picks with Confidence +5: 5-6
