Friday brings us a fresh slate of Streak for the Cash Picks with the PGA Championship early, Major League Baseball late, and some soccer and Olympic picks sandwiched in the middle.

Yesterday was a good day for my picks as they went 4-1. Unfortunately for my streak the one loss was near the end of the day as the Royals knocked off the Orioles in Baltimore. I was able to bounce back with a NFL prop pick and finish the day where I started it at a one-game winning streak. Hopefully today I can build on it with these picks:

Picks for 8/10

Aug 9, 2012; Kiawah Island, SC, USA; Webb Simpson putts on the 15th hole during the first round of the 94th PGA Championship at the Ocean Course of the Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Mandatory Credit: Joshua S. Kelly-US PRESSWIRE

8:10- Webb Simpson win or tie: Simpson struggled to a +7 in round one but was +1 on the back nine. Bubba was -1 on the back nine and +1 overall. Webb was playing his first competitive round in a while and I think he’ll be much better today. There’s no big gap so take the tie and go with Webb. Confidence Meter: 3

3:05- Ethiopia wins 2 medals or more: Three of the top four favored to win are Ethiopian. All they need for this prop is two… Confidence Meter: 6

8:05- New York Red Bulls win: The Red Bulls are good at home (7-3-0) and they’ll have newly added Tim Cahill on the field. The Red Bulls can score in bunches and I think they’ll be able to overcome their defensive challenges to get the win here. Confidence Meter: 3

9:40- Washington Nationals: Stephen Strasburg in 12-5 with a 2.97 ERA and he’ll start against Trevor Cahill who has struggled at Chase Field for the D-Back. The Nats are rolling despite Bryce Harper’s slump and I think they’ll win their seventh in a row tonight in Phoenix. Confidence Meter: 6

10:10- Seattle Mariners: The Angels lineup is far better than the Mariners, but it doesn’t matter because King Felix has been that good. Ervin Santana tries to beat the king tonight, but I don’t like his chances with a shaky bullpen behind him and his recent inconsistency. To give you an idea how good Hernandez has been: he hasn’t lost in 10 starts and is 6-0 with a 1.41 ERA over that time. I’m goin’ with the King. Confidence Meter: 5
