As fans and players around the country get geared up for week one of the college football season which gets underway next week on September 1. If you’re looking for a league to join in the mini-games run by ESPN, there is a public Fantasy CPR group in both College Football Challenge and College Football PickEm.

College Football Challenge (Link to our group here) is a salary cap league where each team is made up of two quarterbacks, two running backs, two receivers\tight ends, a team kicker, and a team defense. I’ll be posting my picks weekly like I’ve been doing for fantasy golf and we’ve been able to have a very competitive 18-person group for that. Hopefully we can get the same thing for College Football Challenge. We’re playing with all conferences eligible and the game is totally free so prove your college football knowledge by joining our group and claiming the championship.

College Pick’em (Link to the group) is a little different as ESPN selects 10 of the best matchups from Saturday’s action each week. Your task is to pick the winners. It’s a points-based confidence system meaning you place one, two, three, four, etc points on your pick for each game. It’s pretty tough since the upsets can leave you out some serious points. It takes just a few minutes each week to put in your picks and hopefully we’ll have a solid league.

I’ll be posting my picks for both games each week and would love to have you involved in our groups if you’re going to play.

If you’d be interested in helping with our college football coverage for both or either of these groups, we’re always on the lookout for bloggers who have solid writing skills and good knowledge of the sport. Contact me at [email protected] or @FantasyCPR on twitter.

Can’t wait for Kickoff!
