Today’s Streak for the Cash schedule has a dozen picks with plenty of Major League Baseball action. There’s a couple soccer picks and a US Open day 1 prop for a little variety. This coming week expect plenty of tennis, soccer, and baseball and then college football just around the corner. If you’re interested in playing college football mini-games with us, our leagues are still open.
My picks finished 6-1 yesterday and I’m on a two-game winning streak 0n my personal entry. Here’s the picks I’m making today with a short reason why:
Streak Picks for Monday, 8/27
10:00- Ural win or draw: Take the draw if you’re on a W1 or a losing streak. Confidene Meter: 1 1/2 (out of 10)

June 26, 2012; London, ENGLAND; Alex Bogomolov (RUS) during his match against Alexandr Dolgopolov (UKR) on day two of the 2012 Wimbledon Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. Mandatory Credit: Susan Mullane-US PRESSWIRE
1:00- 8 games or more: This is an Andy Murray prop based on how many games he’ll lose in his round one matchup. All that needs to happen is one decent set for Alex Bogomolov Jr. to get to eight. If he goes 6-3, 6-2, 6-3 that’s good enough. Bogomolov actually upset Murray
4:00- Atletico Madrid win: Madrid is good at home, Bilboa has struggled defensively and had a big Europa league game mid-week. Confidence Meter: 6
7:05- Chicago White Sox: The White Sox are coming to Baltimore after dropping three of four to the O’s at home in April. They’ll send Francisco Liriano to the mound who has pitched will in but one of his starts since joining Chicago and will be looking to win his third start in a row. Chicago was 6-0 on their recent homestand so I’ll go with them, but Baltimore has been playing solid ball as well. Confidence Meter: 4
8:08- Tampa Bay Rays: Two words: David Price. Price has been awesome all season and has to be in the discussion for the AL Cy Young with a 16-4 record and a 2.28 ERA. He’ll be opposed by Derek Holland who has been up-and-down all season. The Rays have been closing on the Yankees and I think they’ll take the series opener from the Rangers. Confidence Meter: 7
10:05- Atlanta Braves: The Braves face the the Padres who have won their last seven games but will send Casey Kelley out for his MLB debut. The Braves just took two from the Giants and will send Paul Maholm to the hill for his fifth start for Atlanta. So far, he’s been solid with a 2-2 record and a 2.40 ERA. I don’t see the Padres continuing this roll against the Braves who are in the thick of the NL Wild Card race. Confidence Meter: 4
