It’s all about NFL Kickoff today, and Fantasy CPR has plenty of coverage throughout the week. Today’s board definitely is NFL-heavy with a pick from every game, but for those of you who are firmly anti-establishment you can pick tennis, baseball, and even the WNBA if that’s what you’re after.

Yesterday my picks went 13-10, right around .500 which is usual for a prop day. The rest of the month has been solid as you can see from my stats at the bottom of the page. Personally, I’m on a W2 thanks to Georgia and USC’s second-half touchdown.

If yesterday’s Super Saturday stunt left you seeing red, it’s time to get things turned around with these picks:

Streak for the Cash Picks, 9/9

9:00-Cittadella: Stay away unless you’re in the red, but take the draw if you need the early flier. Just fyi, this is the second best Italian soccer league and both teams are between 5-10 in the 22 team table. Confidence Meter: 2 (out of 1o)

1:00- Minnesota Vikings: This is an interesting game between two second-year quarterbacks trying to hold onto their “franchise” hopes. Christian Ponder has had good games at home, I like the Vikings defense better than Jacksonville’s, and I think Percy Harvin and Kyle Rudolph will have big games here and get Minnesota the W. 4:25- Carolina Panthers: Cam Newton took the Buccaneers lunch last year in both meeting between the NFC South rivals. I do think Tampa plays better this year; I do not think they win this game. Confidence Meter: 8

September 4, 2012; Los Angeles, CA, USA; Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (22) pitches in the fourth inning against the San Diego Padres at Dodger Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Gary A. Vasquez-US PRESSWIRE

8:08-LA Dodgers: The Dodgers and Giants play the rubber game of the pivotal three-game set in AT&T Park. Clayton Kershaw is on the hill for LA while the Giants counter with inconsistent Barry Zito. I’ll take the better lineup and the better pitcher and go blue in this one. Confidence Meter: 7

8:25- Denver Broncos: The Broncos and Peyton Manning are definitely headliners and I think they’ll edge the Steelers in an AFC playoff preview on Sunday Night Football. The baseball pick is safer, but this game will be an awesome one to watch. Confidence Meter: 3
