Despite practicing the past few days Denarius Moore joins fellow-Raiders WR Jacoby ford on the sidelines for tonight’s Monday Night Football game two in Oakland.

There is hope though if you’re in a tight matchup and have Moore in your lineup (which I warned against here). Rod Streater has been a preseason standout (covered here) and is still available on many leagues waiver wires. If you have to drop Moore to grab Streater to get the win this week, don’t hesitate to pull the trigger. Streater could be the better play the rest of the way anyways and the slight downgrade will be worth the week one victory, in my opinion.

Other players whose value jumps up with the inactive are Darrius Heyward-Bey (who was a strong play already), Derek Hagan (in deep leagues), and Brandon Myers (starting TE). Give a slight downgrade to the Raiders offense overall without Moore as a weapon, but I still think Carson Palmer and Darren McFadden will have nice opening games.

I expect this game to be a bit o a shootout and the Raiders to put up some points so get Streater if you can and enjoy the DHB, Palmer, and McFadden points coming your way to wrap up week one.
