Preseason showed the Jets 0-4 tied for the worst statistically, but thats preseason.

Who Knew? Who Knew the real Sanchez? Who Knew the Real Jets? No one. Not “expert analysts” Not the Buffalo Bills, but only Rex and his entire squad knew. Sanchez had above average numbers with 226 yards, 3 TD’s and a rate of 123.4. Did Sanchez Secure his job? No but, Did he prove a point? Yes. Tebow sat lonely on the bench thinking “how can a playoff QB go to being a backup?” He will be played more than he did in the game on Sunday; Sunday wasn’t his day. We all know some Sunday will be his day soon. Not saying that he will become the starter but he will be a bigger component on the offense. I think they are saving some trick with Tebow for the big up coming games like the  Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers.

The Defensive looked like the best defensive in the league highlighted by Cromo’s pick six.

Here’s some week one awards for the J-E-T-S:

Offensive Player Of the Week : QB Mark Sanchez-People coming into the season had him losing his job during the course of the year. Sanchez completed 15 of 22 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns bringing the Jets to a 27-7 at halftime. The Jets scored four fewer points than the Jets had during all four of their preseason games. Here were the numbers that got him this award: 70.4 CMP% 266 yards and 3 TD’s…. The Offensive line really helped him get this award

Defensive Players Of the Week: LaRon Landry and Antonio Cromartie-Two plays stood out to me making this award theirs. Cromartie: his beautiful pick 6 finishing in a fancy flip into the end zone.. Landry: having 7 tackles and 1 FF that other safety Yeremiah Bell picked up.

Surprise of the week: Rookie Wide out Stephen Hill putting up great numbers in his first game ever in the NFL. 5 REC  89 YDS  2 TD looks like megatron numbers to me.

Oh Crap of the week! The Jets announced Monday that Revis has a “mild concussion,” and his status for the team’s game at Pittsburgh on Sunday was uncertain.”He seems to be feeling good,” coach Rex Ryan.

Tebow moment of the week: What a great play he had to secure the game. WOW! As the Bills tried to pull a onside kick on the Jets Tebow comes out of nowhere and secures the ball. Great moment!
