The ageless David Akers (2) continues to pike up points kicking for San Francisco. Kelley L Cox-US PRESSWIRE
Kickers are a volatile bunch and very hard to predict. The variety of opinions on just our three-man panel is astonishing. None of us have the same number one kicker and two of us didn’t rank the other’s number one option. There are only five kickers we all agree are in the top ten: two ski’s, a Packer, and a two-way tie on top. David Akers and Garrett Hartley will both be in domes and their teams are scoring points so be glad if you’ve got ‘em. If you need a change at kicker Justin Tucker of the Ravens has emerged early on in the season as a nice option.
As always, our weekly rankings are a collaborative effort. My selections are in the ZT column and Steve Copps (SC) and Jeffrey Littrell (JL) joined me for this week’s rankings. Our three rankings are averaged into the composite score which is used for the ranking.
