Streak for the Cash Daily Picks-September 27

The Ravens and Browns highlight a Thursday with plenty of picks for Streak for the Cash players. I’m taking the high-flying Ravens to win by double-digits at home. Mitch Stringer-US PRESSWIRE

With just a few days left in September, time is running out if you’re going to get on a run and get a long streak in time. Now’s not the time to sit on your streak, but there’s not many “sure-thing” picks on the board for today.

There’s 14 options as of this morning with international soccer and late-season afternoon baseball taking up to tonight’s slate with more Major League action as well as football from the pros (with real refs no less) and College.

I’ve been on a decent run lately as you can see at the bottom of the page, and here’s the picks I like today:

Streak Picks for 9/27

12:00- BH Hacken: From the Swedish Allsvenskan, our first pick is BK Hacken who will move to the top of the table with a win and are an impressive 8-1-2 at home with a 35-13 aggregate in their home matches. They host Helsingborg who is sixth in the table and just 3-3-5 on the road. Hacken has won straight-up their last five games and will be out to avenge their earlier 3-2 defeat. Not a huge Swedish soccer fans, but the numbers and odds make this a pretty good pick. Confidence Meter: (out of 10)

1:05- Yes Both Tigers and Rangers win: The last two days there has been one of these dual-team props, and both have gone the way of “no, at least one loses.” Today looks like a correction to me; plus, I like both the Tigers and Rangers starting pitching matchups and they’re both at home. Confidence Meter: 6

3:45- San Francisco Giants: Barry Zito has been pitching well with a chance to win his fourth start in a row while Patrick Corbin struggled his last time out. San Francisco has won 11 of 14, but they don’t have much to play for, so don’t get too overconfident with this one. Confidence Meter: 3

8:30- Ravens win by double digits: The Browns have a long ways to go and getting a win on the road in M&T Bank Stadium seems like a stretch. The Ravens just played four nights ago, but Joe Flacco, Ray Rice, and John Harbaugh have this offense flowing and their defense should be able to shut down Cleveland’s youth movement on offense enough that they’ll win by 10. The spread is 12.5 and in Pigskin Pick’em I’m still taking Baltimore and giving the points. It looks like another Thursday Night blowout awaits us, but it is a divisional clash so you never know… Confidence Meter: 6

9:05- Stanford wins by double digits: Washington is 2-1 but has only beaten San Diego State and Portland State while getting hammered by LSU. They’ll host the #8 ranked Cardinal tonight at CenturyLink Field. Stanford hasn’t played since it pulled off a huge upset over then-second-ranked USC. This will be their first road game, but Stanford showed they’re a legit Pac-12 title contender by beating the Trojans. I think they’ll handle the Huskies by 14 or so. Confidence Meter: 7
