Sam Acho (94) is just one of the hard-hitting leaders of a defense that knows how to create turnovers. Just ask Michael Vick (7) of the Eagles. Jennifer Stewart-US PRESSWIRE
Team Defensive units have been putting up crazy points the last few weeks, but the Bears team that has led the way with multiple defensive touchdowns sits out week 6, so who should you start in their place?
The Cardinals defense which has played especially well at home take over the top spot mostly because they are hosting a Bills offense that is struggling mightily and has been turnover prone and shut down the last couple of weeks. I didn’t have Arizona at #1 overall since I think they may struggle with the two-headed backfield of C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson. Check out your matchups and make sure you’ve got the right defense active.
Here’s our breakdown of the top 10 defenses for week 6. I was glad to be joined once again by Fantasy CPR staff Steve Copps (SC) and Jeffrey Littrell (JL) in putting together a solid top 10. NR stands for not rated and counts as a 15 for averaging purposes.
