It’s the last day of October! Time to eat lots of candy and make Streak for the Cash picks all day long! Congrats to RaceCarDriver#99 who was the first streaker to get to 20 this month and is in the lead going into the final day. There’s 11 options on the board today starting with BNP Paribas Masters tennis, continuing with soccer this afternoon from a variety of leagues, and finishing tonight with some NBA and the first elimination round of the MLS playoffs. Here’s the picks I like:

Streak Picks for 10/31

8:10- 7 games or More: Sam Querrey actually has played fairly well against #2 in the world Novak Djokovic. Querrey lost 6-4, 6-4 earlier this year and 6-2, 7-6, 2-6, 6-3 in their previous meeting in 2010. Querrey dominated Fernando Verdasco in the opening round before Verdasco retired. Querrey should be able to get at least seven games this morning. Confidence Meter: (out of 10)

3:45- Chelsea: Manchester United just beat Chelsea 3-2 in the EPL amid major controversy due to some questionable refereeing and allegations of racism. They’ll be out for revenge and at home I think they’ll advance. This should be another great game. The club is also encouraging their fans to dress up for Halloween. specifically the club website said “Get yourself dressed up – it’s going to be FREAKY!” Should be a crazy game and I think they home team gets their freaky fans a win. Confidence Meter: 6

7:10- Indiana Pacers: The pacers start their season north of the border of the improved Raptors. Toronto will be better this year, but the Pacers return most of their team from last season and should be the stronger team overall even though they will be without Danny Granger. Confidence Meter: 4

7:45- Houston Rockets: The new-look Rockets led by Jeremy Lin and James Harden head into Motown to take on the Pistons in their opener. Houston is expected to be the better team throughout the season as Detroit continues to rebuild. Confidence Meter: 6

9:15- Chicago Fire win: In this elimination game the Fire host the Dynamo. Houston made it to the finals last year but finds themselves in this play in game at Toyota Park in Chicago. During the season Chicago won 3-1 at home on September 2 after a pair of draws (0-0, 1-1) earlier in the season. Both teams are struggling a bit as they come to the postseason closing the season 1-1-1 in their last three. Houston has the experience, but Chicago has home field advantage. Confidence Meter: 3
