ESPN Streak for the Cash Picks and Analysis, November 10

The Georgia Bulldogs head to Auburn in one of the many College Football Streak for the Cash props today. I think the Bulldogs make a nice road pick. See who else i chose below. Photo by Daniel Shirey-US PRESSWIRE

It’s another Saturday Streak for the Cash extravaganza with 29 picks filling up the board for today. Things start with the EPL at 10:oo this morning and won’t wrap up tonight until the end of the three West coast games that tip or kickoff at 10:30. There’s definitely a little something for everyone with plenty of NBA and College Football action as well as some soccer and golf mixed in just for fun.

Here’s the picks I like the most today with a brief explanation as to why I think my pick is right:

Streak Picks for 11/10

10:00- Arsenal win: The Gunners host Fulham after getting a nice road-draw in the Champions League this week. Fulham has never won at Arsenal and has lost al but three of their games there. FFC has drawn it’s last two and three of their last four but lost to Man City, Man U, and even West Ham United earlier this year. Confidence Meter: (out of 10)

12:00- Louisville Cardinals: Click here for my pick for this game. Confidence Meter: 6

12:02- Wisconsin winning Margin or Tie: Click here for why I think Wisconsin will win. I think they’ll do it fairly easily behind a big game from Montee Ball and a solid defensive effort. Confidence Meter: 4

12:05- Any Other Result: I’m taking Arkansas to lose by less than 15 points to South Carolina in this prop. SC edged Tennessee two weeks ago to get back in the win column after consecutive road losses at LSU and Florida. Most devastating though, was the loss of Marcus Lattimore their star running back. Arkansas was a mess earlier this year, but has won three of their last four losing to Ole Miss by only 3. Their last road game was a win at Auburn and last week they beat Tulsa to get to 4-5. I think Carolina will probably win, but they haven’t beaten anyone by 15 since the Georgia game back on October 6.

3:00- Oregon State: Click here for my pick for this game. Confidence Meter: 3

3:34- 79 points or more: This is the point prop for the shootout between West Virginia and Oklahoma State. OK State averages 42.5 points per game and WVU is just behind them at 40.8. This should be a wildly entertaining game as both teams fly up and down the field and I expect at least one team to hit the high 50s.

3:35- Penn State win or Single Digit Loss: The Nittany Lions have the offense to keep up with Nebraska and it wouldn’t surprise me if they wein outright. Nebraska’s only double-digit win in Big 10 play came after they knocked Denard Robinson out against Michigan. Most of their games have been close, and I think this one will be too. Confidence Meter: 6

3:40- Any Other Result: I think Alabama wins this but that A&M can stay within 15 points of  the Crimson Tide. Confidence Meter: 3

7:00- Philadelphia 76ers: Philly played last night and got a nice win in Boston behind big games from Evan Turner and Jrue Holiday. They’ll head north of the border tonight as they meet the Raptors who are 1-4 but hope to get Kyle Lowry back for tonight’s game. They did win their only game at home so far this season over the T-Wolves. If Lowry doesn’t return, this game is much more of a lock, but if he does play I can only go- Confidence Meter: 4

7:03- Georgia Winning Margin or Tie: Georgia lost just once this year as they fell to South Carolina in epic fashion back on October 7. They’ve looked good since them bouncing back to beat Florida, and Ole Miss the last two weeks in big games. They’ll face a tough test as they head to Auburn, but the Tigers have lost all of their first six games in the SEC  including a 42 point loss to A&M at Jordan-Hare Stadium in their last home game in-conference. They made a change at QB, but  Mark Richt’s defense will be ready to give a rude welcoming to Freshman Jonathan Wallace. If the Bulldogs win, they’re the East division champs and will play in the SEC title game once again this year. Confidence Meter: 6

8:05- Notre Dame wins by 20+: They’re my most confident pick in my pick’em piece (click here to read all 10 picks). 20 points is a lot especially when the game is taking place in Chestnut Hill, but I think the Fighting Irish will be out to make a BCS statement and thump the Eagles. So far this season, BC has lost by 20 twice. Once at then-#12 FSU and once at Georgia Tech. Notre Dame though should be able to shut down the Eagles and put up about 30 so I think they’ll cover just barely. Confidence Meter: 3

10:30- Denver Nuggets: Both teams are playing on the second half of back-to-backs but Denver went on the road to Houston and won earlier this week in a similar situation and looked good in their win at home last night over Utah. Golden State meanwhile got rolled by the Lakers as the celebrated Mike Brown’s firing. Confidence Meter: 7

10:35- UCLA Winning Margin or tie: UCLA heads north to Pullman as they take on 2-7 Washington State. The Cougars are still looking for their first Pac-12 win this year and are coming off a loss to Utah where they were crushed 49-6. UCLA meanwhile looked really good as they rolled over then #22 Arizona 66-10 to get back into the rankings. The Bruins have won three in a row including beating the Utah team that crushed Wazzu last week. Look for UCLA to roll in this one. Confidence Meter: 5
