Streak for the Cash Picks and Analysis for November 14

Can Rudy Gay and the Memphis Grizzlies slow down the Thunder tonight in Oklahoma City? I think he can definitely win his prop with Kevin Durant in ESPN’s Streak for the Cash. Check below for the rest of my picks. Photo by Benny Sieu-US PRESSWIRE

Things settle down on a big on ESPN’s Streak for the Cash after yesterday’s basketball bonanza. Don’t worry though, there’s still 14 picks from around the world of sports to use to build your streak. Things get started this morning and early afternoon with International soccer then continue tonight with some college football and basketball as well as some NBA picks from the ESPN featured games. Of the picks on the board for today, these are the ones I like the most:

Streak Picks for 11/14

10:00- Russia win: Check the roster for these squads. The US is using this friendly to get some experience for its younger players while the home-team Russia will have its top squad out there. Russia has been playing well lately and have won four in a row in the UEFA World Cup Qualifying games including a nice win over Portugal. I know USA soccer fans will be upset, and I will be cheering for my country. I just don’t think they’re the smart pick in this game. Confidence Meter:(out of 10)

12:15- Tunisia win or draw: The Swiss have to travel to Africa for this and will reportedly be without several key players. The African teams can play lockdown defense and I think Tunisia should be able to at least

7:00- Florida winning Margin or tie: Florida at home is always a tough game and the Badgers will be down point guard Josh Gasser who is out for the season. Florida will also be missing it’s point guards as Scottie Wilbekin remains suspended for undisclosed reasons. Billy Donovan’s squad will be ready for their first real test of the season after rolling past Alabama State in the opener 84-35. Wisconsin also won their first game big-time scoring 87 against SE Louisiana and hitting eight three-pointers. I think they’ll hit about five in this one and think the Gators get the win at home but 9-12 points. Confidence Meter: 4

8:03- Ohio TDs and FGs: In this solid MAC matchup Ohio head to Ball State. Last week Ball St. upset Toledo snapping their eight-game streak while Ohio fell at home to Bowling Green. Ball State lost at home earlier this season to NIU and I think Tyler Tettleton could give them similar problems to what they dealt with Jordan Lynch in that one. Ball St. has yet to hold an opponent under 22 points meaning that Ohio should be able to score at least four times and possibly more. These two teams are pretty evenly matched so I’ll take the points and go with the Bobcats in what could easily be a letdown game for the Cardinals. Confidence Meter: 5

8:06- Rudy Gay Points and Rebounds or Tie:  Gay is averaging 19 points and 6 boards while Durant is averaging 23 points a game so far this season. Durant could go off but I expect this to be more of a Russell Westbrook game as he tries to dominate Mike Conley leaving KD to score 20-25. Gay and the Grizz are playing well and could steal this game, but I think this prop is a safer and shorter pick since its just for the first half. Confidence Meter: 6

9:05- Chicago Bulls: The Bulls should be able bounce back form their home-loss to the Celtics as they play just their second road game of the year. Phoenix  is 4-4 to start the year but 3-1 at home. Still, the Bulls are 2.5 point favorites and have won six of their last seven against the Suns including the last three in the US Airways Center. Goran Dragic will be hard to contain, but I think the Bulls big men will get the job done down low and their defense will be fired up after getting beaten up by Boston in their last game. Confidence Meter: 4

10:40- Atlanta Hawks:  Atlanta collapsed in LA last Sunday against the Clippers but bounced back to beat Portland Monday night. The Warriors have dropped three of four losing to Sacramenta, the Lakers, and Denver. Golden State has had its own issues with late-game collapses, and I think Atlanta is tough enough to get the road win here behind Josh Smith and Al Horford who should dominate a Warriors team still without Andrew Bogut. Confidence Meter: 6
