ESPN Streak for the Cash Help and Picks for Saturday November 17

While most of the picks in ESPN Streak for the Cash are from college football, don’t overlook the Utah Jazz and Paul Millsap (24) as they take on the winless Wizards. Keep reading for y top 15 picks for today. Photo by Howard Smith-US PRESSWIRE

It’s a typical Streak Saturday with a full board of 28 picks from across the world of sports. The emphasis is definitely on college football but there’s some soccer and basketball as well as UFC 154 mixed in just for some variety.

Today’s analysis is going to be brief, but here’s the 15 picks I like the most on today’s board:

Streak Selections 11/17

7:45- Tottenham Hotspur win or draw: Arsenal has only won two of its last seven matches outright while Tottenham has earned at least a draw in 12 of their 17 games since the start of the Premier League. Tottenham sits seventh in the table at 4-2-4 while Arsenal is one spot behind them at 4-4-3. I’d take whichever side gets the draw in this close matchup. Confidence Meter: (out of 10)

12:00- Michigan State: MSU are seven point favorites at home. Click here to see my picks for the top 10 games of Saturday including this one. Confidence Meter: 4

Nov 10, 2012; Seattle, WA, USA; Washington Huskies running back Bishop Sankey (25) carries the ball and scores a touchdown against the Utah Utes during the 2nd half at CenturyLink Field. Washington defeated Utah 34-15. Mandatory Credit: Steven Bisig-US PRESSWIRE

1:32- Washington wins by 20+:  Washington is favored by 20.5 as they head to Colorado. The Buffs are just 1-9 and have lost their last six by more than 20 points. Look for a big game from Bishop Sankey as the Huskies cruise to the win. Confidence Meter: 7

3:05- USC:  Click here to see my picks for the top 10 games of Saturday including this one. Confidence Meter: 6

3:33- Any Other Result: Duke should be able to stay within 15 of Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets are favored by 13.5 but Duke is a surprising 6-4 and has beaten UNC, Virginia, and Wake Forest in-conference while losing to ranked teams for three of their four losses. Georgia Tech is just 5-5 and lost at home already this year to BYU, Middle Tennessee, and Miami. I’m not sure if Duke will win, but I do think they’ll at least keep it close. Confidence Meter: 5

3:35- Ohio State:  Click here to see my picks for the top 10 games of Saturday including this one. Confidence Meter: 6

3:40- Any Other Result: This pick is that Wake Forest will stay within 25 of unbeaten Notre Dame.  The Irish are favored by 24 on senior day and I do think they’ll pull out the win and stay in the title hunt, but I don’t think they’ll cover the 25 point spread. Only in their 41-3 win over Miami October 6 and in their season-opening route of Navy have the Irish won by that many and Wake has been decent but defeinitely unspectacular this year. Confidence Meter: 3

Nov 10, 2012; Knoxville, TN, USA; Missouri Tigers running back Marcus Murphy (6) rushes against the Tennessee Volunteers during the second half at Neyland Stadium. Missouri defeated Tennessee 51-48 in quadruple overtime. Mandatory Credit: Jim Brown-US PRESSWIRE

7:00- Missouri: Mizzou at home in Columbia are 5.5 point favorites in this matchup of 5-5 teams. Cuse took out previously undefeated Louisville last week and have won three of four. However, outside the Big East they’re just 1-3 with their win coming against Stonybrook. Missouri has struggles in its first SEC season but has won two of three  and only lost by 7 in the swamp in their one loss. At home, I’ll take the Tigers. Confidence Meter: 6

7:00- Vanderbilt:  Click here to see my picks for the top 10 games of Saturday including this one. Confidence Meter: 5

7:00- Utah:  The Jazz visit the Wizards taking on the still winless Wizards. Washington’s big men will struggle to contain Millsap and Jefferson and even with Utah on the second part of a back-to-back it’s a good idea to pick against Wasthington. Confidence Meter: 4

7:30- Seton Hall: The Pirates of Seton Hall take on the Washington Huskies on a neutral court at the Hall of Fan Tip Off Classic. Washington was shocked by Albany in their last game while Seton Hall has cruised to two easy victories to open their season. Both these teams have a bunch of new players and the teams are just starting to take shape. I think the Hall gets the win here by relying on Fuquan Edwin and Gene Teague down low to get them past the Huskies. Confidence Meter: 3

8:05- Kansas State by 15+:  Click here to see my picks for the top 10 games of Saturday including this one.  The Wildcats have been cruising winning each of their last four by double-digits. Baylor can score but their defense has let them lose by more than 15 against TCU at home and by 14 to Iowa State. The spread here makes this a big tricky, but I still think K-State is the right pick. Confidence Meter: 4

November 10, 2012; Tucson, AZ, USA; Arizona Wildcats running back Ka

10:00-Arizona Wildcats: Arizona heads to Salt Lake coming off a big win over Colorado. They’ve won three of four including upsetting USC and all of their losses have been to top-25 teams except to UCLA which is now ranked. Utah meanwhile has lost  to Washington last week who ‘Zona manhandled earlier this season. Arizona has struggled on the road, but I think they get their first win at Utah who is just 2-5 in-conference. Confidence Meter: 5

10:30- San Jose Spartans:  Click here to see my picks for the top 10 games of Saturday including this one. Confidence Meter: 2

11:55- Any Other Result: GSP hasn’t fought in a year and a half but usually his wins come by decision. Condit has a chance to win if he can stay on his feet. Confidence Meter: 4
