ESPN Streak for the Cash Picks and Analysis, November 18

The Dynamo are one of the best non-NFL picks today in ESPN Streak for the Cash. There’s plenty of options, so check out my favorite picks below. Photo by Troy Taormina-US PRESSWIRE

NFL Sunday’s are great for Streak for the Cash players. As usual, there’s a multitude of options today with 25 picks on the board including tons from the NFL, some EPL to get things rolling this morning, some college hoops mixed in with NASCAR, MLS, women’s basketball, and an NBA game thrown in to spice things up a bit.

Yesterday was a crazy day of college upsets. Overall my picks went 6-7 but my most confident picks went 4-0 and I was able to get the first three to get me solidly into the green coming into today.

Today’s NFL picks were explained in an earlier post (click here) and I included a brief explanation as well as a quick guage of my confidence on each of my favorite picks of the day.

Picks for 11/18

11:00- Fulham win: Fulham has drawn it’s last three Premier League games in a row and has only one outright win this month. However, Sunderland lost it’s last two and had a pair of draws before that. While a draw is definitely possible, Fulham is 3-1-1 at home and Sunderland is 0-4-2. Sunderland isn’t likely to win, but could hold for a draw. I think Fulham will get a goal at home though. Confidence Meter: (out of 10)

1:00- Cincinnati Bengals: Confidence Meter: 7

1:00- St Louis Rams: Confidence Meter: 5

1:00- Washington Redskins: Confidence Meter: 6.5

1:00- Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Confidence Meter: 7

1:00- Green Bay Packers: Confidence Meter: 6

1:00- Houston win by 15+ points: Confidence Meter: 5.5

2:35- UCONN wins by 15+: UCONN regularly demolishes other top 25 teams and I think they’ll do it again today. Confidence Meter: 3

4:05- Drew Brees: In a fun prop it’s Brees vs Manning even though they’re in different games. The Chargers D is better than Oakland’s and the Raiders give up tons of yards so I’ll take Brees since the Denver D will be scoring on Rivers turnovers. Confidence Meter: 4

4:10- Houston Dynamo win or draw: Since reaching the playoffs, Houston has been on an incredible roll. The only concern is that they can lose by a goal and still move on since they won 3-1 in the first leg. Chris Pontius (DC’s main scorer) may be out as well. Confidence Meter: 6

6:00- Brooklyn Nets: The Nets are 5-2 and the Kings are a mess right now opening 2-7. Deron Williams should be able to get his team the W on the west coast since no one on the Kings roster can guard him. Confidence Meter: 5

6:35- NC State wins by double digits: NC State has looked the part of a top ten team as it has steamrolled through the Puerto Rico Tip-off Tournament. They beat Penn State by 17 and UMASS by 18. Oklahoma State has looked good as well, but won’t have the horses to run with the up-tempo Wolfpack. Confidence Meter: 8

8:30- Baltimore Ravens: Confidence Meter: 5

8:35- Colorado Buffaloes: I feel invested after taking them and saying they had a chance to knockoff Baylor which they were able to do. They’re a scrappy team and it should be a great game as they face the Murray State Racers in the Charleston Classic Finals. Colorado exacted its revenge on Baylor who knocked them out of the tournament last year while Murray State rallied past St. Johns. Colorado’s tough D and never-quit attitude should carry them through this one as they leave Charleston champions. Confidence Meter: 4

9:00- Portland Trail Blazers: The Blazers have won their last two including knocking off Houston at home on Friday night. The Bulls just got thrashed in LA by the Clippers last night. I think the new-look Blazers can move to .500 in this won while dropping Chicago to an identical 5-5 record through the first 10 games for each team. Confidence Meter: 5

10:25- Field Goal, Safety, or No Score: This will be a tough defensive struggle but you can never be sure with these coin-flip props. Confidence Meter: 2
