ESPN Streak for the Cash Picks and Analysis-November 20

Can the Akron Zips hang with Toledo tonight in a primtime College Football matchup? That’s one of the Streak for the Cash picks broken down in this post. In this photo running back Jawon Chisholm (7) dives over the top for a first down against the Tennessee Volunteers during the second half at Neyland Stadium. Tennessee defeated Akron, 47-26. There’s just five picks on the Streak board in one of the quieter days of the month so far, but expect there to be plenty of college hoops picks added as the day goes on. Check back later today and I’ll add in the new picks and update the post once new picks are posted later in the morning. Also follow us on twitter @FantasyCPR for updates throughout the day.

Yesterday was a rough one for me personally and for streakers in general as you can see in this tweet from the official ESPN SFTC account: [blackbirdpie url=""]

Streak picks for 11/19

10:30- 2 goals or More: Dynamo Moscow can score goals and their last three games have had 7, 7, 6, and 5 goals scored with 3, 3, 1, and 0 scored in the first period. These two teams faced off last week with Moscow winning 4-3 and three goals being scored in the first.  It’s truly a coin-flip pick, but I think they’ll get one and give one in the first period. Confidence Meter: (out of 10)

12:00- Any other Result: This pick is Spartak Moscow +1.5 against Barcelona. Barca just needs a win to sew up the group and just played Saturday before trekking across the continent to play in Moscow. Thy haven’t destroyed teams on the road in the Champions League like in years past and Spartak is solid at  home. It’s a tricky call but a 2 goal win or more seems like a lot to ask from Barca in a game that Moscow needs to avoid elimination. Confidence Meter: 3

2:46- Bayern Munich: It’s tough taking Bayern on the road at Velencia, but their form is just too good to pick against them at this point. They won 2-1 at home against Valencia and could have Mario Gomez back in this one. They haven’t been great on the road in UCL with one loss 3-1 and a 1-0 win on a PK. However, I think they’ll get the win here that they need to clear the way for their advancement from the group. In their 12 games since the start of this season they’ve got the outright win in 10 of them. Confidence Meter: 4

7:03- Any Other Result: Akron is 0-7 in the MAC and 1-10 overall. They lost to UMass last week who hadn’t won all season (their first in the FBS). Two weeks ago Toledo cracked the top 25 and was in control of the MAC, but since then they’ve dropped two in a row and have started struggling to score. They are 21 point favorites and are giving 20 in this Streak pick. Here’s the thing though, they’ve only won one game all season by that margin and have lost their last two outright. Akron meanwhile has been playing better lately hanging with Kent State, Ohio, Miami (Ohio), and even Tennessee for a while. Akron can score points with their wide-open offense so outscoring them by 20 will be tough for Toledo who hasn’t scored more than 29 points in their last four games. Akron will probably lose, but I think they will cover. Confidence Meter: 5
