ESPN Streak for the Cash Picks and Analysis, November 24

Head coach Kyle Flood and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights can wrap up at least a share of a Big East title in one of our early picks in ESPN’s Streak for the Cash. Photo by Frank Victores-US PRESSWIRE

On another sports-packed Saturday ESPN’s Streak for the Cash offers us 26 matchups to choose from. Most of the picks are college football games or props, but there’s some NBA action mixed in as well. My guess is that they’ll be some late-posted college hoops picks as well to look forward to. Keep an eye on the boards and I’ll let you know my college hoops picks in this post once the games are posted.

These are the picks I like the most that are on the board this morning:

Picks for 11/24

10:00-Norwich City win, draw, or lose by one: Norwich takes on Everton who have won just one game over their last six EPL matches. Norwich beat Man U their last time out and haven’t lost by two goals or more since October 6 when they lost 4-1 at Chelsea. Both teams form point to a one goal game or even a draw so getting a goal I think Norwich is a good pick to start Saturday with. Confidence Meter: (out of 10)

12:00- Rutgers: Pitt will try and keep the Scarlet Knights from clinching at least a share of the Big East Title. Kyle Flood has his team playing extremely well and looks to get to 10-1 as they host Louiville in a big Thursday night College Football game. As long as Rutgers isn’t looking past this one they should be able to hand the Panthers their third loss in a row. Confidence Meter: 6

12:05- Ohio State: As part of my college Pick’Em Picks (posted here) I broke this one down. Confidence Meter: 7

2:30- Baylor: As part of my college Pick’Em Picks (posted here) I broke this one down. Confidence Meter: 3

3:30- Penn State: Click here for analysis. Confidence Meter: 4

3:35- Florida State: Click here for analysis. Confidence Meter: 5

6:30- Stanford: Click here for analysis. Confidence Meter: 6

7:00- Mississippi State: Coach Dan Mullen is undefeated in the Egg Bowl against Ole Miss who has lost three in a row coming into their rivalry game. The Rebels have been playing well but losing the last two weeks falling to Vanderbilt and at LSU. MSU meanwhile is coming off their first win in their last four after knocking off Arkansas. The game is at Ole Miss so they’ll be fired up to become bowl eligible and beat the Bulldogs. However, I think they again fall just short and MSU will get the win. Confidence Meter: 4

7:00- Clemson: Click here for analysis. Confidence Meter: 5

7:05- Charlotte Bobcats: The Bobcats are showing tons of improvement this year and are above .500 at 6-5. Teh Wizards are looking up at .100 after dropping their first 10 to open the NBA season. Until they win, they’re good to pick against and Charlotte has looked decent so far this year. Without John Wall the Wiz are short-handed in the backcourt which is where the Bobcats are getting great play from rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Kemba Walker. Confidence Meter: 7

9:00- Milwaukee Bucks: The Bucks host the Bulls who have dropped three in a row. Milwaukee has struggled against the Bulls recently, but are playing well leading their division and taking Miami to overtime their last time out in Miami. They’ve won their last two at home. Confidence Meter: 4

10:00- Utah Jazz: It took a last-second shot from Gordon Hayward, but the Jazz won last night in Salt Lake City. The Kings were up 13 in the fourth but collapsed. The Jazz will be able to ride the momentum from last night against the struggling Kings who have lost six of their last seven. Confidence Meter: 5

10:30- Louisiana Tech: In a matchup of 9-2 teams Louisiana Tech heads to the west coast to take on San Jose State. LTU lost in overtime to Utah State last week while SJSU pulled off a big win over BYU. This should be a fun, high-scoring, passing-heavy game as both teams like to throw the ball and rank in the top 12 in Passing yard per game. No team in the country scores more than Louisiana Tech and I think the Bulldogs will be able to pull out the win in this one since they’re used to playing in high-scoring shootouts. They are undefeated on the road this season. Confidence Meter: the watchability factor of this game though is about an 8.
