ESPN Streak for the Cash Picks and Breakdown, December 1

Both Oklahoma teams make good Streak for the Cash Picks in the early games today. Here, Oklahoma Sooners wide receiver Jalen Sanders runs for a touchdown during the fourth quarter last week against the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Richard Rowe-US PRESSWIRE

A new month gets underway with a huge 28-pick day on ESPN’s Streak for the Cash. As we start this final month of the year, I’d like to thank the readers who stop by each day and are part of of our FantasyCPR group. With a new year coming, I’m considering switching over to Yahoo!’s Sports IQ game. The advantages are that you can pick more than one pick at a time and get your whole day of picks set without having to worry about when a game locks or unlocks. Has anyone been playing over on Yahoo? Let me know your thoughts in the comments or email [email protected] and let me know your opinion. I’ll test drive it some this month and maybe we’ll move there in January permanently.

In the meantime, it’s time for another month in search of Streak for the Cash green. Here’s the picks I like the most from today’s offerings featuring college hoops, the NBA, college football, and the EPL. I already picked the top ten college football games of the day and those picks are copied here as well.

Streak Picks for December 1

7:45-West Ham United wis or draw: West Ham hosts Chelsea in their 15th match of the EPL season in the first pick of the month. Chelsea is 0-4-2 in their last six games in the EPL which has prompted a change in leadership as new manager Rafael Benitez takes over. West Home meanwhile has had their own struggles going just 1-3-3. I think a draw is likely in this one so getting the draw and at home I’ll take the Hammers. Confidence Meter: (out of 10)

12:00- Oklahoma State: One of my College Pick’Em Picks (click here for full post). Confidence Meter: 7

12:02- Oklahoma wins by double-digits: One of my College Pick’Em Picks (click here for full post). Confidence Meter: 6

12:05- Tulsa: Yet another one of my College Pick’Em Picks (click here for full post). Confidence Meter: 5

12:30- Baylor single-digit loss or win: Baylor heads to Kentucky in the early-afternoon college hoops game. The Wildcats are a superbly talented group of young players but are 4-2 coming off a loss at Notre Dame. In their only game against major-conference schools they’ve lost to ND and Duke and beat Maryland by just three. Baylor comes in with an identical record but lost its last game at home as they may have looked past Charleston wo beat them by four knocking them from the top 25. The Bears other loss was against Colorado in a preseason tournament. I think this game will be a close one and could see it going either way. Ultimately I think UK wins but I don’t think it’ll be easy or they’ll cover. Confidence Meter: 6

3:03- Cincinnati winning Margin: Most ‘Bama fans won’t notice as their men’n hoop team will be overshadowed as they travel to Cincinnati as part of the Big East/SEC Challenge. Both of these basketball teams have gotten off to a hot start with matching 6-0 records. Cincinnati has beaten Oregon and Iowa State in their two best wins while the Crimson Tide’s strongest opponents have been Villanova and Oregon State. Cincinnati has a big size advantage and will pull away late. The only way ‘Bama keeps this close is if they slow it down which means fewer threes-made. Cincinnati should cover in this suprisingly underrated college hoops game. Confidence Meter: 5

3:35- Boise State wins by double-digits: Another one of my College Pick’Em Picks (click here for full post). Confidence Meter: 4

4:02- Michigan wins by 15+: The Wolverines can score averaging 80+ points per game. They’ve won big when they’ve played smaller schools like Cleveland State and Slippery Rock (no I didn’t make that one up). Bradley has started well but gives a ton of size to  Michigan. When they played USF they lost by 19 and the Wolverines should roll to the win here. Confidence Meter: 6

4:05- Alabama: Another one of my College Pick’Em Picks (click here for full post)Confidence Meter: 8

8:00- Chicago Bulls: The Philadelphia 76ers take on the Bulls at the United Center in one of the NBA night games. The Sixers have won three in a row and Chicago two of three. The Bulls are actually 6.5 point favorites so to get this pick straight-up is a nice gift from the Streakmaster to start the month. Confidence Meter: 5

8:00- Houston Rockets: The Jazz have struggled on the road going just 3-8 with wins over only Washington,  New Orleans, and Toronto. They lost last night at OKC and play the second-have of their back-to-back against a rested Houston team that hasn’t played since Wednesday. Confidence Meter: 6

8:17- Nebraska: Another one of my College Pick’Em Picks (click here for full post)Confidence Meter: 7

10:30- Golden State Warriors: The Warriors have won their last two and are 5-2 at home. The Pacers are coming off a big win over LA on Wednesday but have scuffled without Danny Granger to lead the way. At home, I’ll go with the Warriors. Confidence Meter: 5

November’s Final Numbers
