ESPN Streak for the Cash Picks and Analysis-Sunday December 16

James Harden and Jeremy Lin lead the Rockets to Canada to take on the Raptors in one of the non-NFL picks on the Streak for the Cash board today. Check out all my picks below. Photo by  Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

It’s another jam-packed Sunday of Streak for the Cash sports picks today with the NFL leading the way but some picks mixed in from the NBA and College Basketball as well. There’s 23 matchups on the board to choose from today so do some research and make some good choices. Here’s the picks I like the most coming into a great Sports-filled Sunday.

Streak Picks for 12/16

1:00- Colts win or Single Digit Loss: All my NFL Picks against the spread can be found  by clicking hereConfidence Meter: 4 (out of 10)

1:00- Houston Rockets: Houston has battled back to .500 and is looking for its third win in a row as they head north of the border to take on the Raptors. Toronto will be without Andrea Bargnani and Kyle Lowry but they were able to snap their six game losing streak on Friday against the Mavericks. Overall, the Raps are 2-12 in their last 14 including a 117-101 loss to the Rockets in Houston. In that game, the Raps had all their main players healthy while in this one they’ll have to overcome the loss of Lowry and Bargnani. The Rockets should be able to keep up their winning ways in this one. Confidence Meter: 7.5

1:00- New York Giants: All my NFL Picks against the spread can be found  by clicking hereConfidence Meter: 3

1:00- St. Louis Rams: All my NFL Picks against the spread can be found  by clicking hereConfidence Meter: 6

4:02- Delaware wins or Single Digit Loss: Villanova has had a very uneven opening to the year starting 6-5 with losses at home to Temple and Columbia but nice wins over Purdue and St. Joe’s. This afternoon they’ll host the Delaware Blue Hens who come in with a 3-7 record but have played a fairly tough schedule including Duke, K-State, and Pitt. They’ve only lost by double-digits twice-Duke and Pitt- while hanging in against Virginia, K-State, and Temple a team that crushed ‘Nova at home. This one should be within single digits and if the Blue Hens won it wouldn’t shot me at all. Confidence Meter: 5

4:05- Detroit Lions winning Margin: I think the Lions runs away and win by at least double-digits and the Cardinals cannot seem to get Fitzgerald involved in their sputtering offense. Confidence Meter: 8

4:25- Oakland Raiders: All my NFL Picks against the spread can be found  by clicking hereConfidence Meter: 6

6:00- Denver Nuggets: Denver knocked off the Grizz in their last game but have struggled on the road going just 6-11 away from the Mile High City. Tonight they’ll head to Sacramento to take on the Kings who are 6-6 at home but have dropped their last three games to Dallas, Milwaukee, and Oklahoma City. The effort Nuggets big-men put in (especially the Manimal) makes me think they can dominate the paint and get the win on the road in Sacramento. Confidence Meter: 4
