ESPN Streak for the Cash Picks and Breakdown, December 23

Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall gets his own prop as the Bears head to Arizona today. He’s one of the best picks of the day in ESPN Streak for the Cash. Find the rest below. Photo by: Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

As we head into the week of Christmas and the big prop-day on ESPN’s Streak for the Cash the picking season is upon us with 22 picks on the Sunday board. Many of the picks from the NFL I covered in my Picks against the spread post which can be found by clicking here. I’ll include my confidence for those picks but you can find the breakdown in that post. Besides the NFL, there’s picks from Men’s College Basketball and the NBA.

Yesterday I got out to a quick start  winning my first six picks (overall, some are mutually exclusive). I was able to get my own streak to five and hopefully help you find some green for yours as well. Today, the 1:00 time spot is overloaded with NFL games and picks, but these are the ones I like the most headed into today:

Streak Picks 12/23

8:30- Manchester  United: Man U isn’t the lock they first appear with their defense struggling, but the have won their last five EPL matches outright as they go on the road to Liberty Stadium to take on Swansea City. The Swans are 6-5-6 and are in the middle of the table  while Man U is in its customary  top spot with a 14-0-3 record. Many are calling this a trap game and while it could end up being just that, I think the Reds get out of this with another three points.  Giving the draw isn’t something I usually like to do, but Saneas has dropped its last two games straight-up. Confidence Meter:  (out of 10)

1:00- 3 touchdowns or more: I think this RG3′s touchdown prop should be over 2.5 but it’s not as easy as it looks. In Griffin’s last two games, he had only one touchdown each (both wins for the ‘Skins). The reason I think the over is the pick here has more to do with Phily D which gave up 200 yards and four touchdown passes to RG3 in the team’s first meeting. Confidence Meter: 5

1:00- Dallas Cowboys: for analysis click here. Confidence Meter: 3

1:00- Miami Dolphins: for analysis click here. Confidence Meter: 4

1:00- San Diego Chargers: for analysis click here. Confidence Meter: 5

1:00- New England Patriots win by 15+ Points: for analysis click here. Confidence Meter: 5

1:00- Indianapolis Colts win by Double Digits: for analysis click here. Confidence Meter: 7

4:05Broncos win by 15+: for analysis click here. Confidence Meter: 6

4:25- Brandon Marshall: Look at the QB’s and recent stats and it’s clearly Marshall who has the edge even though Fitz may have the better talent. Fitzgerald has 22, 2, 23, 31, and 11 yards in his last five games. Marshall has 56, 160, 156, 92, and 21.   Confidence Meter: 8

6:00- Orlando Magic: Orlando will need to move on without injured Glen Davis just like the Jazz will now have to after losing Mo Williams. The Jazz have lost four of five and were crushed last night in Miami. Orlando hasn’t played since Friday when they lost on the road in Toronto. Orlando is 7-6 at home while Utah is only 5-12 on the road. Confidence Meter: 5

8:30- Seattle Seahawks:  for analysis click here. Confidence Meter: 3
