ESPN Streak for the Cash Picks and Analysis, December 24

Merry Christmas Eve! With everything going on as families prepare for the holiday’s activities it’s a fairly light  schedule in the sports world. As of now, there are only five picks on the board. If you need more picks, just wait. The Christmas Day stunt is coming with picks from all day’s NBA action and a cool $ 5,000 if you can build the longest streak of the day. To get warmed up today, these are the pick I like:

Streak Picks 12/24

7:00- Az Bars Kazan: Lev is 15-15 as they hose Az Bars Kazan who are 19-6. Ak Bars is 4-1 this month while Lev is 3-2. They both lost their lats game, but for Lev that game was just yesterday as they play a tough back-to-back. There’s no draw option in the KHL, so get your morning started in the green with some Russian Hockey and Az Bars Kazan. Don’t follow the percentages, there’s no solid numbers to back Lev. Confidence Meter: (out of 10)

1:50- Maccabi Haifa win or draw: Shmona sits fifth in the Israeli Premier League with 1 6-6-4 record while Maccabi Haifa is 5-5-4. Haifa is in much better form having won four in a row. This league is tough to find accurate records on and is not very well-known so don’t put anything long on it, but do take the draw and Haifa on the road. Confidence Meter: 2

8:05- Fresno State wins by 15+: I hate giving that many points, but as I wrote in my breakdown (click here) I think the Bulldogs will dominate SMU in this one and run away with a convincing victory. Confidence Meter: 6
