Well, The Jets 2012 season can be summed up in one easy word PATHETIC. With so much hype going into the season it all feel apart so,so quickly. Mark Sanchez is clearly not the “sanchise” that everyone said he was, he’s a joke. There has never been a QB that got so many chances in one game (VS.Titans) and just threw it all away metaphorically and physically. He shouldn’t be allowed near a NFL field his place belongs sitting on the bench watching actual quarterbacks play the game correctly. If the Jets don’t make any moves to the guy under center then well, I’m truly sorry Jets fans.
Shonn Greene? Let’s start by telling him you can’t be both a power and speed runner. One down you’ll put your head down and try to plow through someone like a Lynch type of running back then the next play you’ll try to beat someone to the outside. Bilal Powell and Joe Mcknight are no back up plan for the future either, so go out into the market and get a FA. Sadly there are no good RBs out there, so the Jets may need to draft Monte Ball, Giovani Bernard, or that kind of running back.
Almost as big of a joke as both the running back position and quarterback problem, the New York football Jets wide-outs did one of the worst jobs catching the ball I’ve ever seen on a professional level. There are some teams out there that have number three wide receivers that might be better than the Jets number one and two. You could argue that Santoino Holmes (Season ending Injury week 4) is a big part of the offense, but you need more the one guy out there. Holmes should not be a #1 wide out on team. The Jets had a poor second round draft pick in Stephen Hill who dropped plenty of balls this year and then had a season ending injury. The Jets need to go out into the market and get a player with talent like Dwayne Bowe,Greg Jennings,Wes Welker,Mike Wallace etc.
Gang green has along way to go to become a super bowl contender once again, and with good management and smart moves they could be back there sooner then we think.
