7:00- Golden State Warriors: The Warriors could be excused for a bit of road weariness as they hit Philadelphia tonight. Golden State is actually one-point ‘dogs as they wrap up their road trip with their fourth game in five nights after losing in Indiana, New York, and Boston the last three games. Stephen Curry definitely isn’t to blame as he’s used this East Coast swing to emerge as a star in the league, and David Lee is back form suspension so the Warriors should be at full strength (with the exception of Andrew Bogut). The Sixers know all about injured centers as they’ve missed Andrew Bynum all year and there’s no return in sight as rumors fly that he won’t play at all this season. Philadelphia hasn’t fared well without him, especially as of late as they’ve lost seven in a row including three at homeThe Warriors are the better team, but will they have enought gas to get the win after such a grueling trip? I for one, think so. Confidence Meter: 5

7:00- Kansas State Wildcats: The Wildcats travel to Waco tonight as they play the Baylor Bears who they housed by 20 at the Octagon of Doom back on February 16. K-State has won eight of nine with their only loss during that stretch coming when they visited Kansas. They’ve been able to get road wins at Texas, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma during their run and have only lost two true road games this season (at Iowa State in addition to Kansas). Even with all that in their favore they come in as 2 1/2 point road underdogs at Baylor. The Bears are talented but haven’t been able to play consistently throughout their Big 12 run. They’ve lost three of their last four and six of their last nine including home losses to Iowa State and Oklahoma who are teams that K-State is better than. I think the Wildcats take care of business on the road in this one and avoid the rash of top 15 teams crashing out on the road. Confidence Meter: 6

8:00- Anaheim Ducks: The Ducks are on the second game of a back-to-back but still get my pick as they start a three-game series against the Coyotes over the next five days. The Ducks have been dominant and have Viktor Fasth ready to return to the next tonight after they went with their backup Jonas Hiller last night. They’ll face a Coyotes team that jast dropped three of their last four and will be without leading goal scorer Marin Hanzal once again tonight. Confidence Meter: 4

8:30- Milwaukee Bucks: Milwaukee is favored by five as they host the Raptors tonight in their second meeting of the season. The Bucks won in Toronto earlier this season and have won their last eight against the Raps. Milwaukee has played a string of close games recently and currently sit at .500 in the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. One of the teams trying to chase them down is the Raptors, but Toronto has lost their last three games overall. Toronto is also playing on back-to-back nights after losing at home last night to Indiana. Rudy Gay has struggled with back spasms as well, which could jeopardize his availability or effectiveness. I think the Bucks get this win at home over Toronto who is just 8-20 on the road this season. Confidence Meter: 6

9:03- Arizona: The Wildcats are another team out to avenge an early season loss as they travel to UCLA to face the Bruins. The Bruins are favored by 1 1/2 and have won their last three games and five of six overall. Earlier this season they beat Arizona by 11 in Tuscon and will look to sweep the series and move into a tie with Oregon for the top spot in the Pac-12 with a win tonight. However, Arizona as the talent to get the win tonight and will be motivated after losing at USC mid-week. They have not fared especially well on the road lately though, so I’d keep any streak I wanted to keep going far away fro this game. Confidence Meter: 3

9:05- Georgetown wins by 15+: As good as the Hoyas have been lately, they have played down to their opponent at times this season. In fact, their only loss since January 8 came to USF who has won just one Big East game all year. Since that loss, Georgetown has reeled off ten wins in a row including a tough double-overtime win over UConn this week and a tough road game at Syracuse last Saturday. Today they are expected to have a much easier time of it as they take on Rutgers as 14-point favorites. Rutgers has won just one of their last ten games although they did keep it close when they faced the Hoyas at home losing by just six. On the road, they’ve lost seven conference games but only one was by 15. Still, with the Hoyas on such a roll and the Knights struggling I think this one gets ugly early. Confidence Meter: 5

10:00- LA Kings: The Stanley Cup Champs have started to look like the team that we saw last year in the playoffs. Tonight they’ll go back to where their playoff journey began as they take on Vancouver. The Kings are playing better hockey coming into this game having won five in a row and seven of their last eight. Vancouver, on the other hand, has been scuffling  losing their last three home games and goiing 2-3-2 over their last seven. When you add in the fact that LA won in a shootout earlier this season and has taken seven of the last nine games between these clubs, I think the champs are a solid pick in this one. Confidence Meter: 6

10:30- San Jose Sharks: This is a game where the fact that this game is in San Jose makes all the difference to me. The Sharks are 6-1-3 at home although one of those shootout losses was to the Predators who they face tonight. Nashville has knocked off the Sharks twice but are just 4-5-2 on the road this season. Nashvills has lost three of their last four, but the Sharks have been even worse losing 10 of their last 12. At home, though, against a team that struggles on the road, I think they’ll break out of their goal-scoring funk just enough to ge the win here. Confidence Meter: 3

10:45- Seattle Sounders win: Seattle is always really, really good at home as they host the Montreal Impact who finished last season 2-3-12 on the road. It’s opening night, so its hard to tell what form these teams will be in, but I think the Sounders at home is always a good option. Confidence Meter: 6

11:05- BYU wins by Double Digits: The Cougars played a very tough game against the Zags just two days ago and will need to avoid a letdown as they play their final regular season game tonight against LMU. They beat the Lions by 41 in Provo earlier this season, so even though their only eight point favorites, I’ll take them to win by double digits. Confidence Meter: 5
